Yep.

Yep.
I think there should be two body builds to choose from for each gender, that would make a world of difference and the coding and design team would not have to work their collective behinds off. I think this would be the option with the biggest time invested / gains ratio.
Being such a huge company, Bioware should have the time and resources to pull this off .
Also, being a buff dude myself I would not want to have class-related builds, that would definitely decrease immersion for me, if I want to play an infiltrator I still want to role play myself. I'm surely not alone with this immersion problem.
I'm down with this, so long as it isn't a choice between Milton Poindexter and Biff Sledgefist. A more slim "heroic" build and a buff "heroic" build would be ideal.

Making her wider in the waist hardly does anything other than to reduce her sex appeal and feminine curves

Interestingly, a female friend of mine complained about FemShep having saggy breasts. I never even thought of it until she mentioned it. Dunno. I'm more concerned about the killer hips.

^ Wrong. Thin waists just mean low body fat. Obliques never get bulky unless running lots of hgh. For the average person, a large midsection means fat.
And you know this because.....?
I've been power lifting and weight lifting for many years, naturally, when I started to focus on exercises like low rep high weight dead lift, front squats and standing overhead presses which greatly activate the core my mid section got blocky and thick. I can still see my abs but obliques have completely eliminated my waist and are actually sticking out a bit above my hips.
Which makes perfect sense, for lifting really heavy things your core needs to be stable in all directions, not just front and back.
I beg to differ. The first pic has been photo shopped to death BTW.
Ultra slim waist has nothing to do with feminine curves, its unrealistically slim which hints to a physical defect or bad design choices. Same goes for monstrous hips.
Extreme features like extremely long legs, ultra big boobs and super slim waists are considered negative by the majority of people because such features mean there is something fishy going on. Fishy =/= sexy.
There is a reason features like that are unnatural, they are less than ideal for the function of the human body. Ultra slim waist means the core is weak (obliques) which leads to back problems later down the road, if the hips are too wide you're going to have a funny walk like a duck and your lower back will be trashed. Thats not healthy and not sexy.
I have seen women naturally shaped that way. The pelvic bones are not what is wide in curvy human female (lol that would be quarians because the females have to birth babies with very bent legs) but the amount of fat accumulating on the hips and buttocks as opposed to the waist. That is why proportionally black women have those larger hips and butts in comparison to their smaller waists. It's called https://en.wikipedia...iki/Steatopygia
Example (not photoshopped)

Also like quarians with long slender necks, some humans naturally do as well:

I have heard people say this is impossible and photoshopped as well. And it is not. Iman and some others have really long, slender necks naturally.

I know. I was actually talking about the bone structure when I was talking about hips. That womans waist in the picture is perfectly normal.
skinny as hell.I'd be happy if the male and female protagonists bodies both looked like tennis players. Like...

Maybe it's natural, maybe not, but it's certainly not the average body type, and it's certainly not how a female warrior is going to look.
I can just imagine trying to get into armor with those pillows...
And then when you need to hit the ground because you are under fire, the snipers are going to shoot those pillows because they stick out of cover...

What's your bodyfat percentage? I bet it's high. Yes you will add some mass to your obliques with squats, deads and overhead presses but we're talking a matter of an inch or two. If you are boasting massive stomach gains, I promise you all that mass is not lean.
BF Is fluctuating around around 13%-15% I think a part from the size increase comes from pushing the belly out hard during heavy lifts to activate the core and protect the spine, especially during heavy singles and doubles. I used to do normal body building exercises before I started powerlifting and then my waist changed dramatically.

It IS natural. All women do not come off an assembly line. I'm under 5 feet tall. Maybe in America or Canada I would be short, but in Japan i'd fit right it.
I have a really hard time finding bras in the USA that will fit around my ribcage, they tend to be too wide. I was watching this video about a Canadian girl having trouble finding bras to fit her in Japan.
Some of us are tall, short, narrow, curvy, slim, or chubby. Same with men. I've seen some lady butted men.
Maybe what is average among Americans, Canadians, and Europeans is not average for Asians or Africans.
I agree that the femPC should look muscular in the arms. As to the rest of her figure, maybe:

I think you mean why he got divorced.YUP. It's kind of hilarious and yet... Well, Anderson, no wonder you never got married.

Also out of the "norm" is sexy if in the right ways. It's not hard to be sexy and out of the norm American physique.

You consider her fat?
WTF is wrong with people?

Cankles, cottage cheese legs, no collar bones, paunch = fat.
I love how this has become a thread where people are arguing about what is a realistic body shape.
I have some news for you guys: humans come in many shapes and sizes. ****** weird, right?
Some shapes are gross though, round, for example.

Look at those shapeless calves and thighs. Gross. Would not bang with the lights on.
