I would like to see the female protagonist, and all female character models, to have realistic bodies.
I almost feel like wishing that women are in charge of creating the female character models, for either NPCs or the protagonists, cause so many times when men do it, the male characters are realistically proportioned, whereas the female characters just come off as fetishized (or in bikini armour
)
Until Dawn, every male character had realistic bodies. And while Emily and Ashley do, it struck me with Sam and Jessica how oversized their asses were in comparison to the rest of their body.
I get that people can have large asses in real life, but in Until Dawn both Sam and Jessica can be found in varying states of undress (Sam in a towel, and an option for Jessica to dress down to her underwear on a snowstorm plagued mountain in Canada), plus the way that the camera angles are positioned when you are controlling them, I think, shows that the creators deliberately chose to give Sam and Jessica large asses not to show that yes in the real world people can have large butts, but as another example of how it was titillating, and objectifying women. I don't really care if it was just another example of a horror cliche/trope the game loves shoved in Until Dawn, the game had enough without that.
So yes, I'd like to see a more equal and realistic body proportion for both male and female protagonists and NPCs. Stop giving juvenile game developers the opportunity to create and put in games their fetishized, unattainable, unrealistic, and harmful fantasies of female characters.
