Well then wait for next game and see the results of the Dalish ideal, a return to the old days before the humans came.
Oo, i might play a Dalish Mage in the next game due to that.

Look the dude is gone! He's not even on this forum anymore! This guy must've shot you with both barrels. That bad?and there's the deflecting of criticism and accusations of intellectual cowardice

Because you were banned, that's why 'he's' not on the forum anymore. and you and your alt account? They ain't fine.

I imagine setting the game in Tevinter would simply make it very Andrastian human-centric, so I'm doubtful it'll take time to explore elven perspectives any more than Inquisition did (I hope that the next game at least tries to do justice to dwarven fans with the Ambassadoria).

Well... I do have a backup plan; play as a Human Mage, so, I'll play as a human mage and maybe as a Dwarf Warrior?
I edited it BTW. It seems like you guys are obsessed with the dude even if he's gone. Y'all should be celebrating and thank God he's banned. Maybe I caught up in the wrong place @ the wrong time.Because you were banned, that's why 'he's' not on the forum anymore. And the dude being fine? No, not really.

Okay, whatever yah say.
Considering the villain will likely be Solas plus stuff like the arlathan forest is near Tevinter, it's likely we'll get more elven stuff.
I'm also making an elven Mage as my canon da4 protagonist because of this. Of course, hopefully dwarves and Qunari get more content
this is assuming that we even get the same race choices again.
I'm curious if the horrendously low levels of Qunari players might doom them from being playable again in the future

It would be logical to include dwarves given how they were included in Tevinter society as part of World of Thedas volume 1. Good luck with the next game, then.

Are there actual statistics on this? I got the impression qunari were at least more popular than dwarves, if only because of the novelty factor.

If I were a gambling man, I'd bet on the next game featuring city elves rather than the Dalish, to alternate from DAI. They would also make more sense, since I believe Dalish are killed on sight in Tevinter.

I remember seeing some stats posted a while back with humans being the largest, elves a relatively distant 2nd, and dwarves and qunari in the pitiful single digits.
I'll try to dig it up

Yeah, I'd play a Elven mage than... Any type of Elven mage
I've never seen a Demon become 'redeemed'. Is it possible? Solas' friend seemed more of a mercy killing than anything.
I suspect it is, if the spirit hasn't been corrupted too badly. Cole believes he was on his way to becoming a demon before Rhys found him.

Something tells me Solas is not going to be the villain, but a major antagonist.
Possibly a three-way conflict between Tevinter, Solas, and the Qunari.
Merrill says that she believes the Eluvians will help the People, and we're never told the extent of her knowledge in-game (or even by the developers). Admittedly, the narrative never goes much into it, but that's also true of Briala's storyline in Inquisition - the games mainly focus on Andrastian human plots even when it could otherwise fleshed out the elven ones.
I imagine setting the game in Tevinter would simply make it very Andrastian human-centric, so I'm doubtful it'll take time to explore elven perspectives any more than Inquisition did (I hope that the next game at least tries to do justice to dwarven fans with the Ambassadoria).
We're shown what she believes Eluvians were used for in-game. It's absurd to leap from that point to the idea she has secret unshared knowledge, or to the position that it's unknowable what knowledge she did have about them.
We've heard Merrill say that she believes the Eluvians can help the People. I also pointed out that we don't know the extent of Merrill's knowledge from the lore she read about the Eluvians. Nothing in your retort provides any information to contradict this.
More to the point, it doesn't matter that Merrill was ignorant as to their purpose. Her chain of reasoning when it comes to the Eluvian is perfectly sound. The problem with her plan was never the abstract idea.
Considering that you're providing nothing to substantiate this position, while I've simply pointed out that we're never told about the extent of Merrill's knowledge (I would consider it formidable enough considering that she built an Eluvian from a single shard), I'm disinclined to leap over to your position on the matter.
Seeing as how PW described the Imperium as effectively being humans filing down the ears on elven statutes, I'd wager we'd explore quite a lot about the elves. Just like how DAI spent a great deal of time exploring the elves. I'm sure what you mean to say is that it won't spend a great deal of time on the Dalish - but that's not the same as the elves.
Elven history and elven artifacts aren't the same as exploring the views, ideas, goals, or trials and tribulations of elven characters.
If we went by that logic, dwarves shouldn't have been playable in inquisition considering very few actually played dwarves in origins.I remember seeing some stats posted a while back with humans being the largest, elves a relatively distant 2nd, and dwarves and qunari in the pitiful single digits.

City elven mage in Tevinter, please!!!! Maybe one that gets put into one of the Tevinter Circles. Ah, the roleplaying opportunities.

That brings something up: does anyone know the status of elven mages in Tevinter?
Varania said that Danarius offered her a position as his apprentice, and that she could be a Magister, so they seem to have upward mobility available to them on the social ladder, but honestly it really depends on how the developers decide to handle the lore in the actual game; Bioware is not known for their consistency in handling lore, and I'm sure they'll change things to accommodate their story like they've done in the past.

We are either getting multiple races or we aren't. I sincerely hope it's the former
it depends on what the trade off is, if we lose qunari and dwarves for more and better done cutscenes I'll take the cutscenes

Thing is I'm pretty sure Danarius told her he also had a great bridge to sell her .
She can't be a magister , former slave get into the liberati class and they are like half citizen , so no access to important jobs.
Dorian even says he never met an elf who wasn't a slave and he moved around at least from eastern Tevinter to the capital where he used to mingle in high places.
Varania had probably no idea what was going on in the magisterium.
