Hello i accidentally chose Story Mode and played the game for a while before realizing it..

 

My question: can i switch to RPG mode without restarting my game? I dont want to loose my progress, i hope you can answer!

Presuming you're playing on the PC, yes.  (Can't speak to console versions.)
