I don't think it's touchy here....but I feel like it's not necessary in order to make a video game good. If it's appropriate for the immersion, then great, but as long as it's not....you know....porn. If you hang around this site long enough you'll see I'm not a fan of the porn industry at all. So, in my opinion, it should stay out of video games. 

 

Fading to black is awesome, I don't need to see pixels going at it. But like I said, if it's tasteful or appropriate for the situation, I'm all for it.

 

Call me an old fuddy-duddy, but that's how I feel.

Eh Witcher proves sexuallity can be tasteful without going full frontal. It should be NC-17 rated if DA or ME would spice up explicit content.

I have only romanced Yennefer in Witcher 3 but her romance scenes were very well made. However romance can be very good without those kinds of scenes. Danse's romance in Fallout 4 touched me and it didn't include even kissing. Although it was pretty clear what my PC did when she went to sleep while he was around

 

Nudity is natural. I don't see anything wrong about it. Of course there is so many ways to show nudity and the way it's done is more important than nudity itself. I mean I can see a group of men running around naked and hunting whatever they  hunt and it can be natural and that's about it.

Depends how it's done. If it's suits the scene go for it, otherwise it just comes off as a bit of a shock or gratuitous.

It's too fast and dull. You would think that they show some love making without making it so fast and the rest of the scene is cuddling and talking. Boring!!

It is gifted by a desire demon turned lust demon succubus by having a sex ritual by a male or female mage, and in return the mage granted sex magic to hypnotize and copulate subjects.

You have to define "better" for me, I found TW3 sex scenes to be a cringe-fest. I find a tiny bit a nudity with fading to black a lot more tasteful than sounds, montages of body parts and fading to black, then another shot of bodies and fading to black, and another shot of bodies and fading to black. 

 

Not to mention, TW3 also had old lady boobs if you remember the part I'm thinking of. Cringe, cringe, cringe.

Same.  I much prefer the way BioWare handle it.  Any pixelated sex in video games is just pathetic, awkward and cringeworthy.  Leave it as a cuddle, or the start of something passionate, nudity is fine, then fade to black.

Even Miranda's scene in ME2 lasted longer than it should have.  And seeing Tali jump Shep was weird.

 

Those who want more can go watch some porn.

They actually showed sex scenes of sexual intercourse in moderation, and not just caressing and underwear involved @ least. Dragon Age is a joke compared to Witcher when it comes to sex, and the brothels were great!
