Okay,so that's what I was thinking...
Mass Effect is Science Fiction,right? Which means everything there is assumed to be possible to happen in real life (despite some gameplay mechanics to make the game cooler,like sound and breath masks in deep space).
In real life,there is no confirmation that intelligent Alien life exists,but hey! the Universe is billions of years old and has countless stars.Not to mention that there were other races that existed millions of years before us here on earth,so there is a stupidly large possibility that it has also existed in other planets as well,even on planets close to us like Mars,or Saturn and Jupiter moons.
And after so many years,there is no intelligent or even God-like Alien form of life,that was smart and strong enough to survive and evolve? isn't it strange that we never found any of these races?
Reapers existance is considerably possible,that's for certain.But is it probable? or at least viable for a race like that exist?
