I definitely want to see the 4 person spider man build! That sounds hilarious!
Isn't The Avvar always drunk?
Perhaps he tries to be. Since he is such a big guy, one imagines it sometimes takes him awhile to get completely drunk.

Did he finally convince that little man Cabot to stock real Avarr mead?

I would not be averse to trying this.
See you two Tuesday? ![]()

Either that or he secretly got his hands on the Inquisitor's Bottles On The Wall collection ![]()
Soloed NM as level 14 assassin against Qunari. Bosun's Blade is indeed very interesting...When attacking from behind shadow strike often does over 13K damage on a Ben-hassrath Agent yet basic attack in the front can be as low as 20 ![]()
Congrats on your personal best! ![]()

Thanks...though the 57-minute-personal-best is kind of sad... ![]()

1 million gold FC done
Apparently got a couple guys to their traveler title lastnight as well.
Traveler! With Rhorim's help last night
I'm actually within reach of large creatures now.
Still miles away from spiders. Will have to have more farming runs eventually......I hate....farming runs.
Congrats on the solo. I wonder why your damage from the front was as low as 20. When I use the bosun, front damage is normally around 450 I think. Yeah I was wondering the same thing too. But I use bosun on main and hakkon off. Maybe some of the qunari are immune to flanking damage and somehow trigger the penalty of the cowardice feature ? I don't play assassin or the bosun blade enough to know...
The other thing I could think of is that you have to be really directly behind enemy to get the 500% bonus. You cannot be more than like 15 degree off. What if the 10% is the same... unless you are directly in front of the enemy, you don't see the 10%. So most of the time you get the normal damage of the weapon.

Most of the time my front damage was around 470 but every once in a while I would see a red 20 pop up...now I remembered maybe it's because they were blocking my attack? Should record it next time to see what exactly happens.
I'm still a bit confused about main/off hand so let's say assassin used bosun in her left hand and hakkon in her right
Will the basic attack damage be affected by whether you have hakkon or bosun in main hand? How about ability damage? I guess it doesn't matter for twin fangs which dagger is in main and which is off. Not sure if there will be any difference for shadow strike/flank attack though ![]()
I am not a great authority on this so I can't guarantee full accuracy here. But this is what I think is true:
Your offhand dagger determines your basic attack damage. Your ability damage is GENERALLY determined from your main hand dagger. There are exceptions to this though. I believe deathblow uses your offhand dagger for damage calcs for example. I don't think you will notice much difference with assassin with Hakkon or Bosun in either hand since the base damage of the two are pretty similar.
Pretty much this. Twin Fangs and Flank Attack are the two main abilities I remember having off-hand damage, but I'm sure there's at least another one.
Regarding Bosun specifically, the flanking damage is just an ability applied to the player, so it doesn't matter which hand it's in. Basic attacks with either hand and all abilities will be reduced/increased based on positioning. Bosun does have slightly higher damage, though, so it's better in the main hand anyway.
Also, from what I remember, low damage is more noticeably punished by armor, so that (possibly combined with positioning bugs, since front/back armor still don't work right) might be the reason behind hitting for lower numbers than expected. I guess just make a note of what you're fighting when it happens and see if you can replicate it.
Got my second hakkon (the bow) to drop this morning from a NM dragon run! Yay!!!
Now I can complete my hunter agent challenge (have about 220 missions done) and finish up my cunning, since I stopped at 181 waiting to get the bow.

Grats! I still have hunter, duelist, alchemist, and assassin agent challenge left and they are all at about 100/250
I probably gonna end up with like 300 cunnings when I am done with them LOL.

Well, the duelist doesn't have a banner.. so no real need to finish her up. ![]()
I got a special surprise to go with my hakkon bow this morning.. I don't want to spoil the surprise and tell you yet though...

I'll just wait here in anticipation.. (Hunter?)

I feel like you got a third Hakkon, the dagger perhaps? Once it rains, it pours, and you are long overdue.I got a special surprise to go with my hakkon bow this morning.. I don't want to spoil the surprise and tell you yet though...

Those were all good guess Terrell.. and.. uh.. Smurf.
It's name started with a 'D' and ended with a 'ruffy' and I guess he wanted to celebrate my hakkon with me. All caught on camera by Hunter.
