Got my fourth star on Spider Kills, and......


I got Knight's Second in a Superb req chest, last Thursday.   If it is indeed true, that we do not require two hakkon daggers and the Master Stamina amulet, for the crescent, then____________I now have all requirements. Maybe? (depending on the answer to those two things mentioned above.)

Current list being:

Rime
Brand
Bolt
Andruil's Blessing
Dancer's Axe,
Bosun's Blade
Knight's Second

All Hakkons (minus the potential for needing a second Mercy)

All Purple 26 Decent weapons and their lesser blue equivalents

Said before, their point rewards fro some of these longer objectives is pathetic, was much better balance wise for me3mp.

Thats good to know at least, my first was 241, then going backwards from there. 238 then 237.

 

Keep on thinking I should spend my gold hoping for a better version, but its up over 300k now and cant be bothered with how long it would take to open the chests.

250 SS matches. My forth agent completed. AW, Reaver and Archer are the other. Lego now is the closest one to finish.

Got all my stats over 170's and made all the outfits for elementalist and necro.   I put the best ones on them, equip them with hakkon wisdom, PI, etc.. and now they are sitting there looking pretty.   Still not sure if I will ever play them but at least they are looking good at their virgin level 1 states.

 

I am still waiting for that elusive crescent shadow.   It is just not showing up.  My next goal is to get all stats to 200.  Pretty sure I won't get there before this board is closed.  But my original goal when I first started playing was to get to 50 stats in 1 year... now it looks like I will get to 200's in a year of playing.

Buy a 1k chest, then a 2k chest, then a 1k chest and so on... swapping back and forth.  I spent 68k last night and the results were pretty astounding.

 

Myth or not, it "seems" loot doesn't get locked on the same duplicate crap over and over this way as opposed to spamming 2k chests and getting many repeats.

I am willing to try anything. I still needed 5(6) items to be eligible for the Crescent, In the last 3-4 months of playing regularly, I have not received ANY items that I do not already own. I still need:

 

Brand

Dancers Axe

Bosuns Blade

Knights Second

Stone Stalker Blade!!!

 

(now I also need to re-earn my Silencer)

 

I had received a Silencer in my last Victory chest back in Dec/Jan. This jumped the normal prerequisite of needing the stone stalker before getting the Silencer. Since I have never even seen the stone stalker blade, I decided that maybe I needed to delete my Silencer in order to get it. We will see if this makes any difference. I am losing a lot of motivation in playing this when I never get anything new. It seems like everyone that has played anywhere near as much as I have already have pretty much everything.

 

I am beginning to hate this game.

I'll try this the next time I get a sizable enough gold cache.  It is very rare I get over 10k lol

 

I'm still getting some new items, however they are elusive "old" new items.  I received a few weeks ago a Wicked Grace and just yesterday received a Walking Death.  Probably great for their time, but anything on my Crescent list would have been much better.

Well, I finally got over 100 in all three stats. It was really only constitution that has been holding this up. I'm now at 102/130/132. And to think, when I started playing this game, I said I wouldn't bother promoting and would just play as a level 20...    Glad I didn't listen to myself back then!

Also, as can be seen in the previous picture, I have been saving up some gold for some time to have a mass chest-opening party. So below is the bounty from about 170,000 gold (took 20 minutes to open using Smurf's alternating 1000g, 2000g strategy that he mentioned above). I got a staff I never had (Yavanalis, the one that gives guard on hit) and will never use but still wanted, a bunch of decent armor upgrades (+16 constitution heavy armor upgrades), and a third Boon of the Spoon on my very last chest  . Was really hoping for Rime so I could go Crescent hunting but that didn't happen unfortunately.

So I tried Smurf's method with all my current gold: 24K...I indeed found something that didn't go straight to salvage: one +16 constitution arm upgrade, one +27% heal bonus leg upgrade ( both of which I haven't seen for a long long time...) and then Brand......Although I only opened 8 superior + 8 enhanced chests in total, the loot were actually pretty  impressive

I hadn't thought of that. Nothings grinds my gears like seeing the same items again and again in one shopping spree. I'm going to push my Willpower to 200 and decide whether or not to stop playing based on the results of spending my gold like this.

Just soloed a NM match against Red Templars with my Lego until zone 5. The Commander were 1/3 health left, but then... Blackout!

When the energy came back I tried again, now against Qunari but no blackout this time.

It took less time than I expected, "just" 35 minutes. Taunting everything with War cry and March of Everlesting helped a bit.

One-shotted a commander today with an over 100K damage pommel strike. 

 

I've been upping my willpower lately and am now up to 5000 willpower 

 

Okay, just kidding.

 

I just kited him around for probably 5 minutes with To the Death active and with every other damage increasing enhancement (except Mighty Offense Tonic which I forgot to take ). Realistically effective? No. Hilarious? Yes!

 

I rarely use To the Death and was wondering if there was a percentage cap. If there is, it's still high enough to do serious damage if you have that kind of patience or just want to try it for fun!
