2000+ likes when I only joined the forum for some Dragon Age Multiplayer tips
And you would probably have more if BSN didn't limit the number of likes you can use in one day. Unlike some Dragon Age fansites that don't. *whistles nonchalantly*

hmm, only weapon I can try this out with is Rime for now, lemme give that a shot later. Perhaps I have been enlightened, and I would thank you Autumn appropriately for bringing that to my attention....to be continued

Yup. I always thought the bow does double damage normally, until Terrell asked me one day if it started doing double damage after I put a rune on it. I told him I never had it without the rune. Who would use a bow without putting a rune on it first? So he brought in his bow without rune (apparently he does! Oops
) in the next match and sure enough it was doing single damage. After that I tested all 3 runes... fire and ice does double and lightning switch it back to single. All working as intended of course.
I'm such a hipster that I don't use runes
Doesn't this discussion only apply to the three elemental swords that no one uses and the electric bow or am I missing some others? As LC pointed out above, my rune game is apparently weak lolHmm, to me the overall math would balance out overall. Exploiting a weakness and doing awesome lightning damage to an enemy with lightning weakness is just the more extreme side of the comparison to doing some damage to an enemy with lightning weakness and fire resistance(if a fire rune was to be equipped per say). So just pondering this out, is it better to be overall mediocre and yet damage more enemies or overpower and exploit a weakness and find a different strategy around damaging enemies that have an elemental resistance of the same kind? And to add to the latter could one just look at the enemy with the elemental resistance, then turn face and pick on the next kid for their lunch money? This would make for an interesting discussion. Talk amongst yourselves(says mike meyers)

Ya, I believe we're just discussing weapons that deal purely elemental damage. In addition to the three swords, there is Andruil's Gift which started this discussion right? Oh, and then what about staffs? Oh man, not sure what I'm talking about without having access to my inventory

BTW, in case anyone is wondering... rune on the elemental swords and staff do not give double damage.
And I don't remember about hoping for triple damage! I don't exploit game's design bug like that! Well but if it is working as intended... oh well.... I just to have to suffer thru it... woe is me... ![]()

Ok, so only works on Andruil's Gift?

How do you do the poison challenge? Use a weapon that has poison on hit?

How do you do the poison challenge? Use a weapon that has poison on hit?
Easiest way is to use Luka (and if I have read correctly, you are a fan of hers...who wouldn't be.
1) Level Luka up enough to get Flask of Fire, Toxic Cloud, and all appropriate passives to increase the effectiveness of Toxic Cloud. Be sure to upgrade both Flask of Fire and Toxic Cloud.
2) If you have the ability ring for Toxic Cloud, I would recommend it. Keeps the cloud hanging around longer.
3) Make a private lobby (you need to be the only one killing things), and set to Routine FC.
4) Take advantage of rooms, if possible. Map 4, just run straight up to the very top room (the one where enemies will often jump down from). The baddies should follow. (The "chapel" on map 2, is another good example of a "room", on FC).
5) You have high enough stats, so don't worry about getting hit. I say this because here is the cardinal rule - Don't use your daggers. At all!
6) And finally, don't call the dragon. You can use the stairway near the beginning of Map 5 to drag a number of enemies to you. Ranged baddies can still be a problem. If they group up top, hit your Stealth, get behind them, and spam Toxic Cloud.
The key is, they have to die from the poison. Poison blades sound great in theory, but it is usually the physical damage that ends up killing the enemy, and then the "kill" won't count towards Poison.
Hope this helps, and have fun...sorta.

I gave up on that after 1 match.
The cloud ticks like under 300 damage...it takes forever! I am going to wait until I got like 2000 willpower and try again to see if it is any better LOL ![]()

I'm pretty sure Autumn has an alchemist outfit at home. No need to wait until Halloween though, that suit is job interview appropriate!
Edit: Don't bring Daggers to a job interview.

You can do it with Hunter also
This is true. I just found that being able to spam a larger cloud with the use of Flask of Fire, much more efficient. The Hunter only allows one throw of TC, then cool down.
However, it is good that you pointed out there is another character you could use, if one wished.

lol! You are not wrong, that it can be a slow death, and I can completely understand someone not wanting to take the time. *nod* But, that is why you have TC upgraded, plus the passives to make it more effective, AND you do this in Routine. Dragging a number of baddies behind you, up to that top floor on Map 4, then gas-bombing them like crazy....trust me, it doesn't take too long. Each map is a little different though, on how quick you can clear it. And the different factions can be problematic as well. For example, if I am lucky enough to get that freebie TR right at the beginning of Map 1, this can be a useful room for grouping up the enemy. However, some factions don't/can't use the ladder (I always open up the top door). This can mean chasing down small groups or individual enemies. Chasing = time. Meh....it happens. *shrug*

It all depends on the job you are interviewing for - butcher, circus act, assassin - any of those the knives would be a bonus!

Dunno how much of an accomplishment it is considering the nature of RNG but I finally got my first Superb Ring of Life Drain. I suppose I could turn it on it's side and take it as my item score has reached a reasonable point now? Though I find that the chests I purchase end up giving me quite a few purples only after I've taken a 3-4 month hiatus from multiplayer. Perhaps to entice me to get back into it again, I guess? Tricking me into believing that things have turned for the better ![]()

Last night I got my last level 27 weapon, Bolt. Now I only have 2 hakkons left and the master stamina amulet before the CS. On a different subject, I discover that the basic staff attack sequence can be sang along with "happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to youuuuu, happy birthday to you" Each time you sing "you" get the end of the sequence with the staff butting the ground. You can see I got really bored soloing. Where are the people?

Don't need Master Stamina Amulet but you might still get it first. So only 2 to go !
I'm amazed you got all your 27's before the Hakkons ![]()
Good luck !
