Mine are all those Warden PCs that are apparently SO AWESOME the games can barely exist without them, such that people are constantly asking for them to appear in every DA game that is or might ever be released. Those guys must be frickin' awesome, man.
Well, that's because they are awesome
Seriously, Hero of Ferelden FTW.
Also True I hate how they killed the view of the grey wardens hopefully in the next installment they make em badass again
Agreed, 100%
While the majority of the Warden are pretty cool, I definitely have a soft spot for the Awakening Wardens. Nathaniel, Sigrun, Oghren, even Velanna, they're all really great, and I really hope we see more of them in the future.

Had he lived up until Riordan's reveal, I'm sure he would've understood the necessity of The Wardens' sacrifice.Well, probably my Mahariel Warden, but if she's not allowed then...Daveth. Seriously. Freakin' Daveth, who knew the danger and didn't turn back. Who was gonna stop the Blight, but wasn't afraid to be a smart aleck while doing it. Who had the soul of a true Warden, even if his body didn't make it past the Joining.

In that similar vein, poor Mhari from Awakening, who would have made for an excellent Warden and companion.
Compared to Daveth, it was an even more cruel twist of the knife that they chose to give her an actual character trailer, affection points and even the beginnings of a plot arc, only to have not her survive the Joining.
I did like how she was given a nod in the World of Thedas, to show that the writers (and a couple Wardens in-universe) remembered her.

It's 'who is' or 'who's', not 'whose'.

I love the sarcasm in this post.

Even though he's a bit of a dingbat it has to be Riordan...
Riordan was also one of my favorites he was really cool and gave us an insight on how wardens aren't bias to people and anyone can join

Alistair and Nate
I liked Nathaniel and Alistair as the grey warden contact in DAI does make for a much better dialogue. I like how he still treasures Duncan as a father
Would be easier to recast the Warden, because otherwise it would involve bringing back;
Mark Hildreth, Ken Lally, Robin Sachs, Gideon Emery, Desmond Askew, Timothy Watson, Micheal Gough, Mark Meer Dwight Schultz, Keith Ferguson (twice), Jesse Gervais, Yuri Lowenthal, Fred Tatasciore, Peter Jessop, Keith Szarabajka, Zach Hanks, John Rubinow, Hellena Taylor, Colette Whitaker, Erica Luttrell, Kath Soucie (twice), Mika Simmons, April Stewart, Corri English, April Branigan, Kathryn Cressida, Cree Summer.
That's a ridiculous amount of people to assemble to voice a character whom might not even appear and for what only constitutes a glorified cameo. And even more unlikely to occur since one of the cast is sadly no longer with us, as Robin Sachs passed away about three years ago
I agree they should give the warden that shepard voice actor or a voice actor that actually sounds like a dwarf, elf and or human in their respective culture. I like how in the elf clan they had their own accent and in the dwarf they sound so..stout
Duncan, Riordan, Oghren, and Sigrun
Duncan was an amazing Warden til the End, Riordan was hands down a badass to the end with that I'll just jump the archdemon and try to kill it as soon as possible than we have the drunk and the funny dwarf I loved them both hopefully we see sigrun in the future.
Janeka!
I'm not gonna lie I loved the part where larius beats her to death.
The Hero of Ferelden, who in my case is a female Surana.
My hero of ferelden is a dwarf named Vyx'Hirol
As do I as I've never read the books but from the games I'd have to go Alistair because he's honourable to the last
He is honourable to the last but he is also marics son and Cailian was also honorable til his final moments
Avernus.
Never liked Avernus to be honest since he killed his fellow wardens for his research and that's why I hated clarel when she was sacrificing her brothers and sisters for the ritual.
Well, probably my Mahariel Warden, but if she's not allowed then...Daveth. Seriously. Freakin' Daveth, who knew the danger and didn't turn back. Daveth was a well rounded character he didn't give a rats ass what you thought about him stealing purses and he was the bravest willing to sacrifice alot more if it meant stopping the blight

I can't believe nobody mentioned Stroud his mustache is amazing
Problem with Stroud is that we have little content to judge him, other than the mustache and presumably not being a vile traitor as the other two, I can't really recall any big deal with him.

I think Stroud should be a companion in the next installment only if you didn't sacrifice him. He seems as if he had potential to be a Duncan and or Riordan since he's considered one of the best swordsman in the order

Avernus.
I had completely forgotten that Avernus was a Grey Warden. I'll have to revise my "degenerate cowards" to "degenerates or cowards".

What about Sophya? her goal wasn't exactly degenerated nor I think she was a coward.

Sophia's goal was to carry out a personal grudge. That the guy she wanted to carry out her grudge against was a colossal jerk, doesn't really change the fact that she used the organization for her own vendetta. What about Sophya? her goal wasn't exactly degenerated nor I think she was a coward.

Mhairi was cool too. I'm probably less attached to her just because I've probably played the opening parts of Origins a good thirty times, but haven't done the same with Awakening. I came into the franchise late, so I didn't know they pulled the bait-and-switch with her in the marketing, too. That's awful. Genius, but awful.

I've been playing currently and just finished that... it reminded me that there's parallels with Loghain here. On a pure Warden level, there's no excuse for me to be so vindictive towards him...at least when yields.

And yet, Alistair is somehow different because of what?...
