I would appreciate if you took my Dragon Age survey. It is for a post I want to do on my blog, if it goes well and I get a good amount of responses. There are only 13 questions, so it is not long. Thanks.

Edit: Realized that I forgot Josephine as a Romance option and the Awakening dlc for Origins and did not want to skew the results, so I just made a new survey. I also added two new questions, while I was at it. Sorry about that. Apparently I should triple check next time, since I always mess something up.   

 

 

Update: Figured I should put the survey results here for easier access, so people can see it right away.

Ugh, I knew I would forget something even though I looked over the damn thing twice!  The irony that it was Josephine is too bitter and of course I would go off and do other stuff for the next few hours and not notice. Anyway, I updated the survey and added her. I do not know if you can go back and edit your response or not. Thanks for letting me know.

I was a little frustrated that I couldn't add qunari and dwarf among the races I've played and Dorian and Sera as characters I've romanced just yet because I'm fairly new to the game and haven't had time to do everything I've wanted, but that's my problem and not the survey's.   Either way, I'm curious about the results!

Its "Golems of Amgarrak" not "Golems or Amgarrak", and "The Exiled Prince" not "Exiled Price". Take your time with spelling and grammar.

 

In this age of Lets Plays, perhaps keep in mind the possibility that while people may not have bought and played a story DLC, they may still have strong impressions of it.

 

"Do you play as male or female" is different wording than "Did you play as male or female".

 

While I have multiple playthroughs (of DAI but perhaps all the games) planned, I have only completed one, so I'll answer just based on that.

When asking which character is your favorite from each game, you're expecting up to three answers, right?

There should be an "I don't care" option for wanting MP in the next game. I said that I didn't want it, but not caring is more accurate.

I included Aveline for DA2 in my answers; possibly the best and most heart wrenching romantic option in the series.

Some bits were a little vague (I know sometimes in surveys that's intentional, I suppose). Favorite romance and favorite characters, particularly...I didn't really so much "enjoy" any of the romances over any others in the first two games as I just sort of prefer them for story reasons. Inquisition had a slight exception, but they're pretty dry in all of them (just the nature of the medium, IMO). Favorite characters was similarly broad, so I just stuck to companion characters, 'cause otherwise, there's WAY too many to think about.

Also, it was hard to pick my favorite game in the series...they all have distinct strengths and weaknesses, really.

Still, despite all that, it'd be fun to see results (and, for that matter, how they correlate, though that may be too great an undertaking).

Good question, I assumed all characters, I hope that was right. I picked Loghain for DAO.
