I was wondering if the Krogan female that accompanies the N7 + Cora in the 1st trailer video is the same one from the Sur'kesk mission? If so, this can be construed as "a continuation" from the ME trilogy.  Bio did mention that non primary characters would/may show up in the Andromeda game.

Thoughts on this?

That'd be crazy. She can die in ME3.

Since when is that Krogan in the trailer female? And several devs have already said that no major characters from the trilogy will be in MEA.

Do you mean Eve? Like it's already been said, she can die in ME3.

Also, when did they mention this?

She's also potentially pregnant at the end of ME3 and seemed pretty devoted to helping the Krogan in the aftermath.

Since when is that Krogan in the trailer female?

The Krogan in the trailer is wearing armour that goes over their head, thus resembling the head-dresses we see several female Krogan wearing in ME3.

From what we observed in the original trilogy, Male Krogan armour and clothing only covers the hump on their back. Unless they wear helmets, their heads tend to be left exposed rather than covered.

So based on that, the Krogan in the trailer is probably female.

Are you assuming that Krogan have not females except for THAT ONE, whose immune system was damaged and was the only hope for Krogan to cure genophage? Are you assuming anyone would put someone THAT valuable into direct danger and/or far from Tuchanka? Didnt she wanted to rebuild Tuchanka and Krogans?

Dude, you need to pay more attention to the game and READ ._. And stop thinking Andromeda is a continuation, or that the main hero is Kid/Teen Shepard Jr.

I hope it has female krogan warriors :) It would be interesting to see those beauties in action XD

BUT, because of genophage, females are like GOLD, the have to protect them to have any chance o reproduction. But following you, maybe some female krogans are 100% sterile, which means they have no value and can risk their lifes fighting and dying like any other male.

I certainly hope so, she's one of the sexiest women in the game. And its always disappointing knowing we can't climb up onto galaxy map and get clumsy with her in the CIC.

But I think its time we moved forward with newer and sexier Krogan. Gratuitous crotch shots and headbutts.

I thought it was supposed to be Drack. And that they're wearing helmets because they're in Andromeda. And everybody b!tched about characters not wearing appropriate armor and helmets.

That's a stretch. The Krogan in the trailer is wearing armor, not robes, and doesn't have a face-covering like every other female Krogan.

The Krogan isn't wearing a helmet. Only the N7 and the human looking female. There is no female style headdress its just his hump and armor.

I thought they said it was Drack. Also isn't Andromeda a pre-sequel or something? It takes place before ME3, but after ME2. So the events in ME3 won't effect Andromeda. Which would mean, no Eve aka Urdnot Bakara. Unless this idea was trashed and it's a few years after ME3, then however long to Andromeda.

Drack is an alleged companion. The trailer shows a mystery N7 and his team.

True, I was going to say before that it the only flaw with the idea is that it does lack the normal veil we often see them wearing. Although, you couldn't really recreate such a thing in armour, because you might as well just create a full helmet or faceplate.

You are right in that it is clearly armour that the Krogan is wearing, but seeing a female Krogan in an armoured version of their usual robes isn't that outside of the realms of possibility. We did see Wrex wearing a Krogan-esque tux in the Citadel DLC, so why can not the reverse be true?

It's probably Drack is the leaks are right and they're probably male, but I do think a female Krogan squadmate would have been cool.

Wouldn't creating bastardized armor versions of religious robes be blasphemous? Otherwise why wear them if they mean so little, culturally?

Do we know that the robes are religious? We've seen a couple female Krogan wearing the full-covered outfits, but they can't all have been Shaman's like Eve/Bakara was? Could simply be their standard way that the women dress, since I don't remember the male Shaman we met in ME2 wore anything different to the other male Krogan?

The Krogan Shamans being warrior-priests would actually fit well within the species lore.

On that note, I hope the Shaman of Clan Urdnot ended up on the Ark and that the glorious bastard's given name is Drack.
