I have to say that hacked servers get more common and pathetic on PC the last few weeks, i want just a fair warning before i join from lobby that the game is altered and chat messages ingame , i hope that the guys that make the cheat engines can implement this minor thing in new builds because they are shoving that current shitfest through our PUG mouths and it costs me equipment if i leave a lobby because the game is unplayable because the host decided that overload or proxymine is instant kill in order for him lower the the difficulty for him to play Plat. 

 

There is this player Dark Angel or something that always warns in chat that his Banshees jump further before i join the game....im ok with hosting altered content like that

They all have access to console command in game text chat when using mod maker.

Most don't cause lobbies don't fill up if they do  . Or that's what the few that answers tell me when I ask.

I meant put a standard repeating  message warning others that the server is altered outside of host influence.

Well, while they all can use the Console chat, it's impossible AFAIK to put any other kind of message, like a pop-up or sth (which I think it's sth the OP is requesting too).

Just block them and move on. Of all the games I've played on PC, maybe run into one hacker when playing all day.

That´s my experience too. I almost always (sometimes I´m a bosh´tet ) warn guys what they are getting into when I run modded, but atleast 2 out of 3 will leave. But yes, it is annoying af if you get into a lobby where your weapons/powers oneshot everything and you get like a gazillion credits for your "effort".

I have mother of all mods installed, but it should affect clients too much.  Yes, it's a cheat, but I got bored of standard ME3 MP so it's fun seeing what affects I can get by sometimes adding pistol mods to assault rifles etc.

Why are those people playing open lobbies anyways I wonder? They can always just give themselves myriads of credits in advance, unlock everything, mod everything and oneshot everything without even needing other players...why openly grieve them when you can do it all on your own?

 

That's quite possibly THE point, I think: Wanting to constantly f*** up other people seems to have developed into some sort of sport in PC-Gaming - at least that's the impression I get when looking at reports about cheaters/glitchers in games like LoL, CS:GO, DayZ, The Division and sorts.

I GiP into Condor/Geth/Platinum recently and the host made it so everything was a OSK and all points that you would have scored went to his. Every other player had 0 score

 

Some other recent games have had ammo boxes that give out Zero ammo, no cover grabs possible and players teleporting all over the map and standing on top of buildings

 

Like OP said, would be nice to have a warning

I really had a sad person earlier today, he started hosting a plat lobby and as soon as i saw the  lobby i got kicked out ... I see the low CP number of the other guy and think that they are friends and he forgot to lock the lobby and kicked me out instead of restarting a private lobby...

 

I continue to search plat, same lobby get kicked again, i restart search end up in the same shitty lobby and a 4th player joined who is hesitant to kick me so i spend some time there looking at the host, he had 2 silver worthy players(in CP and weapons) in his lobby and tries to kick me  he changed from Prothean to a Talon engineer now. He is still trying to kick me, i already suspected before that he had a hacked lobby, now i see a SMG heat sink on his GPS.

 

Then i realized that he does not like point competition because i had a Vorcha sentinel all tricked out for plat...

Later that day i wound up playing with the dude and i swear to god that he nerved flamer damage to shits and he had some sort of hack going on that gave players Ubershields or health it was seriously hard to die there unless you get grabbed or stabbed. What a ****** looser

Doesn't take anything away from your overall point, but just to help clarify...

 

You wouldn't/shouldn't notice if somebody is utilizing Cheat Engine.  It's the modded games you're seeing in these instances.  Cheat Engine is basically a tool for finding and editing values stored locally in the application's (ME3) allocated memory.  It has other uses, but in ME3MP it's mostly to find and change your #credits to, oh say, 999999999.

Can't you block their origin id? If not then bio ware needs to add this feature

You can block users in Origin, but the moment you enter a game, your blacklist goes into limbo.

Cheaters are going to cheat.  That's just how it is.  What would be really dope, is if the modding community got together and finished construction on those unfinished maps.

but in general the idea is good, hopefully they implemented something to andromeda especially for the first 800hrs I reckon take me to complete the challenges and other things in the MP game, after that ill want a wizard  hat mandatory flag next to my name ñ_ñ

Sure file suit against me. But by what he has told me most of his"cheated" lobbies aren't modmaker mods because modmaker is purposefully restricted to prevent what he describes. The only one is the banshee long jump.
