I know that Solas is a popular topic, and I've looked everywhere for my question with no answer, so here is my question.
After meeting the Sentinals in the temple and drinking from the Well of Sorrows yourself, If you don't speak to Solas afterwards and go to the spot where he dumps you, does he still dump you/leave you in the end? If he never officially tells you that he can't be with you, will he talk to you truthfully (before Trespasser)???
No he always leaves at the end and doesn't tell you why. Also, the romance only locks in when he dumps you, so if you skip it, I don't think you get the achievement or romanced tarot card.

No he will not talk to you and no matter what you'll break up with him, however that does not mean there isn't a little bit of information to gain.
After the break up, but before the end of the game, there is a bit of Solas/Cole banter that gives a few "cryptic" answers about the reason Solas broke up with your Lavellan. It's one of the later bits of Banter between the two however so I would advise if you want to get it, bring the two of them (and only the two of them) into the Hissing Wastes to hang out for a while without fast traveling or using menus (for some reason the timer in that zone is roughly 4 minutes shorter than other locations, at about 11 mins). If you get that bit of banter, then you will also receive a little bit of extra dialogue from Solas (talking through Cole) after the battle with Cory and the end of the main game (not Trespasser).
These are little tidbits, nothing more, but they are interesting and do retain some hidden fragments of Solas' personality. If you're a big Solas fan and liked his romance I'd advise to put the effort forward and go for em!

You get that from Cole regardless. My male rift mage Trevelyan got it.

No, I always made him more human and get it every time.
^Yeah, there's no requirement for that line. Everyone gets it no matter your relationship with Solas or Cole being human/spirit (unless Cole leaves of course).
