I'd like to see something cyberpunk, like Deus Ex Human Revoluton was, But with the strong BioWare characters, customizable protagonist, decisions and more open world (less linearity). It could take place on Earth in the near future (2050-'70) with none or not much space travel (maybe a Moon colony or orbital stations). Whatever the case, I want dystopic, big neon cities, synth / synth-rock music, fun gunplay with loads of gun customization and realism in terms of violence and sexuality.

I too like the Shadowrun reboot

What if Bioware would make a totally new series of rpg games what would you like to see and can you come up with a new name for the new series if they would make it.  And in what kind of era would you like it to see it happen because i red a couple of topics ago that some of you would like a pirate kind of era or an era with vampires and maybe lycans. Or maybe a game in the here and now or another one in the future like the ME series.

So do you all have something in mind about this "new Bioware series" thoughts ?

I think Bioware should create a nintendo style game with competitions and races and mini games about nugs with multplayer i think it will sold more than all their IP.

I have my fingers crossed that the Sekrit New IP is about superheroes. I'd love to see another good superhero cRPG.

Don't have any ideas for a name, though.

I don't know what the new IP is about but i would like to know the timeline,if it is a futuristic game like ME or one focused on the
past.

Neither one of the few things they have said about it is that it will be a more modern game.  Since EA wants to get into the Action/Adventure market I am thinking something along the lines of the new Tomb Raider games, but with BioWare touches.

There is nothing more that you want to add to your new crime game ? And how would you call your new crime game series ?

There is no reason of why i posted this topic here i posted this topic here because almost all my topics are posted here. And then what difference does it really make where i posted something like this topic ;).

It wouldn't be mine it would be theirs, and there is nothing in particular I would demand since I'd prefer they come up with their own design. But something about more absurd cases would be cool.

Man, now that you mention it I remember playing this crap game X-Men Destiny, I think on the PS3, and thinking that with actual graphics and a good developer I would have loved a game based on that. X-Men was made to be molded into a story driven RPG with different powers for your mutant.

Oh yeah I just got that one! It looked pretty great to be honest eager to give it a try soon....

Yes true it is either way into the future or way into the past.

You could be right those games from Nintendo are very addictive and a lot of fun to play.

I just wonder how Bioware would do if they would make such a game series because they have no experience with that kind of games.

Well you are not the only one who has trouble coming up with a name for their new game series. Because so far none of them here gave a name to their new game series ;)

I'd be very keen on something loosely based on TSR's old roleplaying game, Gamma World.

I am not familiar with Gamma World.

Oh no armed rabbits those are the most dangerous ones and if they also breed like rabbits we then have in no time an army of millions maybe even billions of armed rabbits  :P

So run for your life while you still can  ;)

OMG, that was one of my favorite tabletop RPGs. That and Call of Cthulhu.

I never heard of that one either "Call of Cthulhu".

I think the superhero genre would fit Bioware's formula pretty well. Overpowered chosen one self-insert protagonist. Over the top villains. Dastardly plots to conquer or destroy the world. Plenty of room for customization. Many tend to work with sidekicks or as part of a team, so there's a party system. Most have love interests. Seems right up Bioware's alley.

I'll only accept it if it's Watchmen style, you know, a bunch of powerless psychos and nihilists in costumes.

I don't want anything with guns or something set in the modern era or futuristic. I like the fantasy/historical type stuff. But that's just me.

Tried Mass Effect, couldn't get into it, too many gunfights and the camera angles were just weird, it was difficult to see anything. Not for me.

I like the superhero idea, but no way Bio would want to get in bed with Marvel or DC after the D&D and Star Wars experiences. Maybe something more indie, like the Soon I Will Be Invincible universe.

They can make up their own. It worked for Freedom Force.

They could just create an original superhero IP. Others have done it.

I kind of think I'm up for almost anything that doesn't tick the same boxes as Dragon Age and Mass Effect. So give me superheroes, give me urban fantasy, give me cyberpunk, give me steampunk, just give me something new from Bioware...

I want a high fantasy title, but not like dragon age. There's enough medieval European dark fantasies in the market these days. I want a fantasy game based on Indian or Egyptian mythologies. But one that really goes overboard in the fantasy aspect. Don't shy away from flying magic carpets, floating cities and enchanted forests xD Music pretty much coming from the culture they chose to make the game based on. I know the example I'm gonna bring it's not a very good one, because the movie sucked balls, but I loved the overall artstyle of the movie "Gods of Egypt". The design of the cities and locales (even if the effects of the movie were bad) was beautiful. So I wish to play a game that has that kind of visual style and setting, but of course, with a better story and characters, and the second I know it's not a problem coming from bioware ;)

I would play your game and can you come up with a name for your new game series ( you would be the first though ) because that's what still missing here  ;).

Something new? Well a hair salon/barbershop simulator complete with all the fan favorite hairstyles from the DA, and ME franchises would be nice.

Not very good with names I'm afraid kkk And names almost always come after writing some plot draft or something. So for starters, I would call them something generic and after I had defined the story, I would come up with a definitive name. Like, did you know that the first name they gave to Mass Effect was "Science Fiction X"?
