Sorry I didn't know where to post this.

I recently restarted a new game after a long while and I noticed a different in the male and female "rogue" armour. So far I've only restarted as a female human Inquisitor but I've noticed a difference between the armour on my male Inquisitor save and this save. I'm just wondering if there was a way to fix this. They are both the exact same armour and its the same for all this armour in that the whole scarf area is missing. (This the tier 3 version of the armour)

I'm on PC, yes I've repaired the game and yes I've removed mods and still its the same. I've not tried it with a mage or rogue female human Inquisitor.

I don't think it's a bug, they must be different versions of the same tier 3 armour. There's 3 versions of every armour. Skyhold outfit, scarf and chainmail. Like here:

T3 armors look a bit different depending on class they were designed for. While the one on the right is warrior version, the one on the left is mage version. If you're playing with mods, do you use mods removing class restrictions? Or, by any chance, did you use Dales Loden Wool to craft mage one to remove class restriction?

Scarf versions are Sturdy [Armor Name]. Normal versions do not have the scarf.

Are you going off memory for the armor, or did you actually double check by loading up your female Inquisitor and looking at the exact armor model in the crafting window?

(Your gal is hot, btw, nice work on her.)

[edit]

I just double checked for you in my own game that has all the armor.

I know both characters are warriors. The scarf version on your guy is definitely the Sturdy Battlemaster Armor (for warriors), and the non-scarf version on your gal is the normal Battlemage Armor (for mages).

I'd suggest that you made an unrestricted version of the Battlemage Armor for your gal for whatever reason (perhaps you preferred the appearance at the time), and just don't remember.

To remove the class restriction on crafted armor, you use specific materials in the armor rating slot:

Silverite - Metal
Snofleur Skin - Leather
Dales Loden Wool - Cloth

Ah sorry for the late reply!

Spoiler

I Checked:

1. Tier 3, Superior Battlemaster Armour

2. Tier 3, Battlemaster Armour

3. Tier 3, Sturdy Battlemaster Armour

I have never changed anything related to the Armour, and as you can see the Sturdy Battlemaster version has no scarf area, I tried going into the light and medium armours but its just the same. I Guess its just a thing that happens maybe?

Its from memory that remember there being a scarf (all my old saves were destroyed when my old pc had a heart attack) so maybe I'm wrong its just a weird little niggle.
