For the love of the maker please make it so in the next game we can NAME OUR SAVE FILES! This drove me nuts and still does in DAI! I named almost all of my save files in the past because I would keep so many through one playthrough! Since we can't currently name files it makes it incredibly hard to stay organized with our saves. I have accidentally saved over stuff I didn't want to because it was one of 8 "Skyhold" saves. How can I relive Solas dumping me if I accidentally write over the save? It is also annoying spending a half hour of my time finding the right one.

I completely agree. I revisit a lot to take screenshots and explore dialogue, so having numerous saves is helpful. With both DAO and DA2 I had numerous saves, all with descriptions.

Just as a suggestion for DAI, one thing I did was to keep a written log and write the time and a description. For example, one was, "[time] - Pre- In Hushed Whispers" and also, "[time] Post- In Hushed Whispers, mages as allies," and so on.

Naming files is super handy if you like to explore lots of options.  For DAI I had to make separate notes too, writing down the times of key events.  It's still an unnecessary extra step tho.

I resorted to referencing time stamps. But I still accidentally saved over my skyhold save right before Solas takes me to Crestwood :/

+1 to that.
Been playing planescape torment lately and it's so nice to be able to input my own save describing what I'm about to do.
Geberic save game titles become meaningless after a while.

Yes, being able to name saved games is great. It's much easier to figure out which game is which, it gives you something to look back on, and it lets you put a hint of what you were doing in the name if you feel like it. (Or something funny. Either one is good.) It's definitely less confusing than auto-named games.

Would like this as well. It allows me to keep a proper track of progress, make backups and try different options related to progressing the game allowing me to backtrack nicely.
