What do you say about a class who does not use any firearms, And will use ONLY biotics? Sounds like a g00d idea, Or to OP
Pure biotic class?

I still want to play as a Vanguard who just charges about, biotic punching people. But with the demeanour of Captain Picard.
Sadly, I suspect my wish shall go unfulfilled.

Practically, even in ME3 MP thare are some Vanguards - like Novaguard, N7 Slayer, Kroguard and Batgrard - who do not need guns that much (at least at lower difficulties). Along with certain Adepts and Sentinels, BTW.

Well-specced Adept is already a thing.
I say, YES PLEASE, I want to really feel like an Übermensch. No guns.

I don't really care, but sending a combatant in to, I don't know..... combat without at least a sidearm seems like a really bad idea.

I'd rather be able to carry weapons if I want, but the basic idea of a biotic class that does not *need* a weapon could be interesting.
The other direction also has potential, generating a paladin-like biotic shield with one hand, while shooting a pistol with the other.
Maybe as two different evolutions of a skill tree.

I know what you're thinking... but I just HATE firearms. It's a dishonorable, inferior way of fighting IMO.*facepalm*

And I always play on Easy so don't tell me it's suicide or anything, it's a videogame and I don't think it is an impossible request AT ALL.I know what you're thinking... but I just HATE firearms. It's a dishonorable, inferior way of fighting IMO.

Dishonorable way of fighting? Inferior? Whatever you say. I'm not even sure what to think of this.
You can accomplish what you wish by playing an Adept or Vanguard and simply not shooting.

ME is a shooter game: There will never be a class that does not have the option to use guns. The sort of thing you're describing might work better as an achievement.

Relax, I know well no such thing is gonna happen... but a man can still dream.

Aye, this should be possible at least.I'd like the option to put the weapon away and just use biotics.

I don't know... I would rather have sidearm and not use it than walk around empty-handed and suddenly need it.

It's 99% possible to never fire a shot in combat as Shepard. My favorite playthrough involved almost no gunplay and only use of melee biotic abilities.
That being said, the chance of our idiosyncrasies being represented in a cut scene is pretty low. And they'll probably give our next adept guns, too, just so that when they need Ryder to be fighting something, they can have all classes shoot the pistol. Even if we have no pistols equipped and one very, very light shotgun as our only weapon. Alas.

The only time i ever felt like pure biotic was in endgame in ME1. Mostly because you had a lot of abilites available and you could use them constantly. ME2 & 3 ruined this because they removed a lot of abilites and they put global cooldown everytime you used an ability which was a huge dissapointment for me.
Pure biotic would be neat, no guns, just equip spells on specifc arms. Like the ability to project shield and at the same time using warp, shockwave etc, but i know that will never happen.

I'd love that. If it doesn't happen though, the adapt class will suffice.

Doubt you'll get a character without weapons. Shepard never uses biotics in cutscenes it's usually always the pistol. ME3 was close enough for me. It was good. Never had any issues with only pistols but spammable biotics.

good point, also pointing a gun in someone's face is the universal language of I am in charge.
