Right now, I'm going through the painful experience of trying to collect all collectibles in Assassin's Creed Unity just to clean up the map. Exploring French Revolution era Paris has been fun, as was Victorian London in Syndicate, and I still go back to the Caribbean in Black Flag. I've given up on Unity's main story missions. The story itself is just awful, Assassin's Creed just don't have even average quality stories now. And the only character I liked was Elise. Arno was just a dull rehash.

I dip into ME3 a lot for the multiplayer, and I know I will replay the trilogy at least twice around December/January time in preparation for when Mass Effect: Andromeda comes out. I may even start a trilogy run earlier, the trilogy has been one of the most replayable game series for me.

I'll maybe replay The Last of Us Remastered again at some point, since at the moment there aren't any games on the horizon I can see myself spending a lot of time on.

I get Overwatch's appeal, the characters look instantly iconic and fun, but I've never been a huge fan of FPS (I think BioShock and Infinite are the only FPS I've played, and their both two of my all time favourite games, but I played them for the locations and stories, not gameplay). Plus Overwatch doesn't have a plot or narrative, so it doesn't appeal to me or what I like in a video game. A lot of my friends are having a blast with it, and I'll probably have a go on a match on one of their consoles at some point.

Games I will get and play before Mass Effect: Andromeda comes out:

Mafia III, the New Orleans inspired setting looks amazing, just hope the story is good, the characters look intriguing.

Pokemon Sun and Moon, waiting for more info on that

Final Fantasy XV, though not sure yet if my first time playing a Final Fantasy game should be with this one, but from what I've seen it looks incredibly appealing

Dishonored 2, had fun with the first one, though the characters and story was forgettable, but if Serkonos is anything like Dunwall was in terms of lore and intrigue, I can look past it maybe not having a fleshed out story like the first

I was just looking Mafia 3 and FFXV, they're both probably well past their prime but hoping they do good things.

FF14 was pretty amazing though to be honest one of the best FFs I played... you never know IMO.

I'm going to have a major Deus Ex binge: I'm going to replay Human Revolution before Mankind Divided comes out and then finish off with the original Deus Ex (a fav) with every single graphics mod I can find.

I think the revision mod is well worth the look if you haven't done so already.

Character models could still use some work though.

I prefer the older ones.

I know a guy who plays rom versions and prefers those.

All a matter of opinion friend. :)

Bought Renowned Explorers : International Society, because on special and looks interesting for a Rogue like, artwork is kind of Disney cartoonish, entertainment for a weekend,

Waiting for Sunless Seas DLC to come out, but not touching it otherwise my hard won expensive ship and crew will get massacred by some deep horror I was unprepared for. When I start that again will do a couple of trading runs to get in practice before going on the real quests. Will probably die, in survival mode.

Occasionally, about once a week, sometimes more, playing Skyrim late at night with Viljya & Inigo, because otherwise they will miss me, recently Viljya gave me some crappy wolf armour that looks horrible, thanked her and put it into the chest, never to be worn, otherwise doing the deep Dwemer caverns ?Black Reach to get the thing that gets you the thing to take out the big bad.  When Fallout 4 goes onto a special with the DLC, will purchase that, but not before.

Am writing and researching something for Twine and question my creativity. Kickstarter things occasionally come out. I have things to do, doodilly do.

Overwatch, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Halo Wars 2, and the Mass Effect Shepard Trilogy mostly.

Yooooo! A fellow Halo Wars fan! Thought I was the only one. Along with Halo Wars 2 I'll probably be playing: Overwatch, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Gears of War 4, Dank Souls 3, Fallout 4, and Universe Sandbox 2.

Liked the Setting of Assassins Creed 4, French Revolution, but not willing to put the hours in to "play" the game. So watched a Youtube video of the cut scenes from it. The detail was astounding and I liked the environment, could see what they were doing with the characters but found what they did with Robspierrie, well um its just a game I guess. Not so fond of the story but the detail was impressive. French studios should mine their history more, perhaps some kind of pan european multi studio effort.

Uncharted 4 multiplayer (and I'll probably replay the game), Resident Evil 5 Remastered at the end of this month, Mafia III in October and Hitman in December. Plus, whatever they announce at E3 that catches my interest.

Currently finishing up my second Uncharted 4 run. Then playing the ME Trilogy 3 more times and Final Fantasy 15 (finally!!! 10 years of waiting) are my top priorities before MEA comes out :D

I hope to squeeze in Firewatch, Final Fantasy Type-0, Drakengard 3, I am Setsuna, Resident Evil 6, Jade Empire, maybe replay some Dragon Age again too. Never ever gonna have enough time for all of that  Plus I just bought the first two Witcher games on a sale... want more time!

The first AC was pretty cool but I really could not get into that series after 3 though personally....

Oh! It would be your first FF haha been with the series since 4 myself, I don't know how XV is going to turn out but it does look pretty flashy I admit.

To be honest, I felt the series peaked at 2, Brotherhood was a fun and overall enjoyable sequel set in my favourite city in the world so I had great fun exploring Rome, but after that its been a bit hit and miss. Black Flag was fun, some of the characters were great and memorable, and I think the Caribbean has been there best setting to date. But the story was weak, and it should really have been a pirate game. Every time the stupid Assassins Creed lore was shoved in, it lowered the quality of the game for me.

I'm an old Kingdom Hearts fan, so the Final Fantasy series has always been appealing, but I don't like joining a series in the middle or one that has been going on for so long. I've been told if I want to get into it proper, I should start with 6 then 7, so I may wait for the 7 remaster for PS4 then check out 15. It does look aesthetically like a gorgeous game, but I've read that its going to take seriously good sales for the game to be a success, and the future of the franchise is pretty much riding on it being a massive hit.

My favorites AC games were AC:2 and AC:Black Flag. Love those about equally, but different. AC:Unity was okay. I finished it. I had so much fun, and a surprisingly good story in AC:Black Flag that it was a hard act to follow. Oh, Arno.

AC: Syndicate is the only AC game I never finished. It bored the heck outta me.

I agree. 2 and Black Flag are my favourites as well, with Brotherhood sort of there just because I am obsessed with anything set in Rome. Unity's only good thing is Paris and Elise for me. I think the game would have been better were Elise the protagonist. Seriously. Her story was more compelling. Arno sought revenge for the death of his surrogate father, but not his actual father? It was just a weaker rehash of Ezio's story, except Arno was a whiny douche. I thought Black Flag's story was weak whenver the assassin-y stuff was shoved in. When it focused on Edward, Adewale, Mary Read and Blackbeard and overall just the piracy side of it, it was great.

Syndicate disguised its lack of a story and compelling campaign with the stupid taking over boroughs tripe. It was like Assassin's Row. Jacob and Evie were likable, but woefully underdeveloped, and the script was cringeworthy as hell. I did love VIctorian London as a setting though.

I was just looking Mafia 3 and FFXV, they're both probably well past their prime but hoping they do good things.

Mafia III looks really interesting, I'm hoping it does something new with its genre and conventions, I do love the idea of a New Orleans inspired setting, and I'm a sucker for an open world game with a good soundtrack. Still uncertain about whether I should start FF with 15, but it does look like it could surprise us.

French Revolution Paris is easily the best thing about Unity. It is gorgeous as a setting, and they put all their heart and soul into the setting, which made everything else severely weak by comparison. The only thing I disliked about it was how cluttered the map is. Which is why I'm stupidly going around being a completionist just to clear it up.

The excellent detail and setting just show how it was ultimately style over substance with Unity, and Syndicate. Syndicate in many ways is weaker than Unity, it was just because Syndicate didnt suffer from the buggy launch Unity did that it got better reviews IMO.

A lot of interesting games will probably tide me over till ME:A, which is definitely the game I am most anticipating and looking forward to over anything else coming soon.

I'm also still waiting patiently for news, development, release date of Kingdom Hearts 3, but I'm slowly passing the point of caring with that one tbh.

Well just wrapped up a lightside Kotor 1/2 playthrough...may do a darkside.  I haven't played those games since they were released and forgot how fun they were...and what a buggy nightmare too.  Waiting on Blood and Wine for TW3 and the next Deus Ex game (depending on reviews.)  Uncharted 4 is always a possibility too.  If I get desperate I'll pickup a copy of FO4 if the price has come down enough.  A month before MEA release I'll do a trilogy run in anticipation.

I'd likely agree if we could get those remade with modern graphics, improved gameplay, and fine-tuning some of the dialogue.  Still, given the years separating the two series it's damn close (for me.)  I'm really surprised given the relative success and iconic nature of Kotor a remake hasn't happened...or additional RPG's in the SW-verse.

This must think what I think it means.

I was a hardcore FPS player after the original HL came out.  Then TF, then TF2, then just about every other FPS game out.   I even got so bold as to try out Quake, or Quake II, hell.   I dunno.   But then I got older and I'm not sure what it was, but my interest in FPS games just went in the toilet.  Plus Blizzard's unintentionally supporting the "git gud" community by not stating anything about it and by keeping the games as they are, that was my final nail.

I never got into DOOM though.  I could just never understand it.  "Hey marine!"  "What?"  "Here's your rifle, have a good time blasting demons!"   "YEEAAAAAAAHHHH!"

What?

Well there's something to be said for constant, fast paced gameplay not bogged down by telling a story and many doom fans like that. I started watching a LP of the new DOOM and they actually seem to be doing both. There is some story going on but there has been only one scene that stops the action. Most interestingly, the just dump you right into some combat with no explanation or introduction.

I've got Doom, TW:Warhammer, XCOM2, Cities Skylines, Civ 6 due out in October and a crap-tonne of other games to play...

... and I'll probably end up wasting 90% of my gaming life in Hearthstone as I have been for the past 6 months *sighs*

For now - ME trilogy. What after that? Dunno. I tend to change my gaming plans... or abandon them entirely for a game I become obsessed with for months.

Finished Final Fantasy X (masterpiece)  and its charles angels-esque sequel. Playing Final Fantasy VI now. Really enjoying it. Lately i'm finding myself returning to older and older games because none of the new ones that are coming to the PC are really appealing for me ;x

Currently playing Uncharted 4 with a side of Dark Souls/Bloodborne.

Still need to complete the Witcher 3. I remember putting around 40 hours into it and then exam season came around and I had to drop it. Will probably have to start a new game.

As for future games the new Dues Ex looks good.

I'm playng a little of everything, actually. I mostly play Fallout 4 lately, but I have currently an open run of Remember Me, Kingdom Hearts 2, and a few run at Dragon Age: Inquisition to finish.
