I have been away from Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer for awhile and just started playing it again. I noticed now that not only does the console open up with the press of the "TILDE" button, but it also opens it up when you press the "TAB" button. How can I disable both in the multiplayer? And, furthermore, why does the console open up in multiplayer in the first place? Thank you.

I was asking a legitimate question, regarding the DEV console opening up when I pressed either the “TILDE” or the “TAB” buttons while playing the multiplayer game of Mass Effect 3. I am not bragging how I learned to cheat. Cheating on the mutilplayer version is illegal idiot. It can get you banned. I am not that freaking stupid.

Actually if you get some relatively benign SP mods you get the console as part of the deal. Console don't care if it's MP or SP. The sherlock in me thinks the OP has issues hitting 1 repeatedly and is instead hitting the aforementioned tilde/tab which during combat can get you killed.

 

I think this one's legit boys. Just didn't realize he was walking into the wrong part of town at the wrong time of day.

Well, you are obviously using warranty voider and bypassing DLC check. That does seem to be illegal on its own.

So, your question is not legitimate, strictly speaking and there is no such thing as DEV console in the game. Well, unless you use some tools which you are not supposed to use.

 

Otherwise, only Mgamerz, well, maybe somebody else, knows how and if Tab console toggle can be changed.
