It could be space racing, Mako racing, or even Swoop racing I don't care which it is as long as we get something with high drama like pod racing with aliens taking trash while trying to blow you up on the race track.
Time to bring racing into Mass Effect

I remember the annoying, out-of-place swoop racing almost as fondly as I remember the annoying, out-of-place dog fighting and asteroid shooting.

I did rather like the Sparrow Racing League in Destiny. Wiping out would have to result in a critical mission failure in an ME setting though, rather than resurrecting.

I want ME1 Mako, just for kicks.

What I want is nothing more than the hilarious crap you could do in ME1 with the... let's just call it "Wagon of Drunkeness".

yes. In fact, this should get its own series of games where we race around in go karts/ motorcycles and lob turtle shells and Bob Ombs Cains at each other.

I quite liked the swoop racing, simple as it was. Pazaak was fun, too.
The random turret sequences were more or less absolutely ****** awful, though.
I'd be interested in racing if they made it, well, interesting. If it's just your standard open-world checkpoint slog, though? Count me out. DA: I's were awful, and even the comparatively much-better-done Witcher 3 equivalent kinda sucked, at least most of the time. The racing itself was utterly dull, but the stories and quests surrounding some of the races were, well, Witcher 3 stories and quests, and made those specific races at least feel worthwhile.

Is that Ashley on the cloud, as if she died and went to heaven? Haha. I like that this Mass Effect Kart would acknowledge my choice to blow her ass up on Virmire.

I hated the swoop race, and I remember failing it more than once. I don't like it when the game makes it mandatory for me to abruptly switch gears or conjure up a completely different skill set. I dislike card games generally and I hate Gwent specifically and intensely. I have two quest markers left in Velen. One is a damn horse race, and the other one is a damn Gwent game.
You know what, they can do whatever they want as long as it's honest to god optional, outside of the missions and never the twain shall meet.

How about no?
Swoop racing was annoying garbage. The horse races in DAI were garbage. Driving the ME2 hovering vehicle sucked. Driving the Mako in ME1 was the worst garbage in the history of garbage. Only that one car chase in ME2 was kind of ok. So according to this track record I'd rather not have any race nonsese whatsovever. In fact is it to late to cut the Mako back out from ME:A?

I can't wait for the mako redux. Nothing wrong with driving, especially in the context of unstructured exploration.
It's the racing game that's garbage.

I'd like to casually just drop black holes randomly across the cluster we're exploring in Andromeda, should we have to race the Khet or whatnot.
Acme need to get on it.

Not into racing, but ship-to-ship combat would be rad.

The occasional chase would be cool. The mario-kart ripoff spinoff makes more sense than putting racing into the game, IMO.
