Ok playing Mass Effect 2 (PC) the little radar down the bottom right side of the screen, keep beeping constantly its just beep beep beep beep beep, can someone tell me what it means and how to shut it up please, as its driving me insane with it beeping every second.

I have the same issue. Sometimes it just stops, I've tried changing the key for turning on the map, didn't work. It is just blinking almost all the time, it slows down on Normandy and it speeds up in battle (tested on Omega, issue started from the very beginning of the game).

Ya it does I found all those same issues as you did, question is how do we shut it off.

I also have the same issue...its not a HUGE problem but it gets...annoying. I tried turning the sound effects off but the game isn't the same without the rattle of your trusty assult rifle.

*Highly annoyed* This happens to me all the time, How i got it to stop for awhile was doing a full computer restart. After some time it comes back. I am so frustrated, I was really enjoying the game then suddenly; Beep beep beep beep beep.

Crazy new twist to this problem i made a new game to try another class and no beep beep beep during this 1. Made a third class and beep beep beep all over again, I'm not sure what to make of this.

Starting PC new, run only ME2 no beeping anymore

Experiencing this problem as well. It just sits there flickering on and off, making so much noise that I'm not able to hear a lot of other sound effects, very lame.

Bump, someone have any idea how to help? It is very lame, i never use the darnn thing!! WHY IS IT EVEN IN THE GAME!!!!!!? It does nothing!

Bump. I have noticed that it only happens to me after i complete a mission. Also I have noticed that it starts off slow then starts to become more annoying if you try to play the game more.

As mentioned above, rebooting computer fixed it, weird.

Well Rebooting of the computer only temporarily fixes the problem. Then it comes back. Starts to beep slowly then begins to get faster. As i stated before, I dont use the Radar HUD, why did they not keep the one from the original game? Why fix it if it wasn't broken, cause now you broke it for me!!!!!!!

Same annoying radar issue. It started yesterday on Illium. It wouldn't shut off regardless of whether there was even something to do in an area. Nothing made sense about it. I had to exit and reboot the computer for it to go away. It's back again. I may have to reboot every time I exit the game. That's going to get old fast.
