Anybody interested in seeing this in Andromeda? To clarify I mean multiple romances and not marriages.

Personally I would love to see this feature, especially since we got this in Fallout 4. Seriously BioWare, your romances are awesome, but most of us are far too sexy to be tied down to just ONE video game gf/bf. Am I right?

Not polygamy but polyamory. If everyone in the relationship is okay with that then I don't see why not.

How bout no Mr. Mormon. Actually never mind I'm indifferent. It would be hilarious to walk around with a haram of girls on some snow planet like some of the animes I've seen.

My only fear is that Bioware won't be able to pull it off. It's not like polyamory is known everywhere and interpreted correctly. Some think that polyamorous people only care about sex with multiple partners when in fact it's not true (not always). And Bioware usually think that sex is everything there is to a romance because after that there is no interaction with your LI.

Be careful what you wish for.  The devs may be inspired by The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress and go the polyandrous route.

No

Just give me one good woman, and I'll be happy. Far too sexy to be slooting around with sub standard broads.

Implementing polyamory doesn't mean taking away monogamous romance completely.

sure the more romance options the better Im all for it as long as it adds to the game's story and is handled well.

False. Nobody wants a woman with a lot of miles on her back. Sure it's similar for guys. Try explaining that balogne you just tried to give me to the woman you want to settle down with. I'm sure she'll be accepting of your threesomes, orgies, etc.

I want that kind of polygamy in ME:A as well, more... realistic (and amusing).

That's not true at all. Experience is worth a lot.

Are you unfamiliar with the concept of swingers?

False. Experience is only good when it's gained with the person you will be spending the rest of your life with. Each person is different and what gets one to climax doesn't always work for another. Therefore experience gained outside of a monogamous relationship is worthless and makes one damaged goods.

Are you unfamiliar with the concept of swingers?

Are you unfamiliar with the divorce and cheating rates of swingers? Doesn't work 100% of the time

I see. You have a really poor knowledge of the subject. Let me educate you. Polyamory is not about group sex, swinger relationships are. Polyamory focuses primarily on romantic feelings towards multiple people. And if someone is not into multiple relationships that's okay, that's what I'm trying to point out. A perfect example of this is ME1. If you try to chose both Liara and Kaidan/Ashley then Ashley/Kaidan leaves because they don't like to be in that sort of relationship. Liara however doesn't display resentment which is clearly an indication that she doesn't have anything against polyamory (at least in ME1). Now, if instead of Kaidan and Ashley there would be a person who is into polyamory as well then the outcome would probably be totally different.

I have derived tremendous benefit from experience. One of my best relationships was with a married woman 12 years my senior.

No type of relationship works 100% of the time.

And that might not even be the goal. Not everyone enters relationships intending them to last forever.

Personally, I think Poly--whatever spelling, is stupid. But that's just me. I don't see how something like that can work, without a cat/dog/bear fight, leaving you with a migraine. Unless you're James Bond, or a Bonobo (the hippies of the ape world). Buuut I digress... If it's done right, whatever floats your boat, and puts you to sleep at night.

I see you have no clue about polygamy, which is what this thread is about, which is defined as
"the practice or custom of having more than one wife or husband at the same time."

Don't give me these delusional and false opinions. Fact is that when referring to polygamy and polyandry, especially in the animal kingdom, is referring to the amount of mates one chooses.

Polyamory, please gtfo with these bs terms. If it wasn't more than just friendship, you wouldn't waste time putting a stupid term to it. It's sexual, let's just be real here.

You can bang at least two people in every game.

Sha'ira + your pick

Jack + take your pick.

Allers + Javik + take your pick.

Which is virtually the same thing in ME.

Explore what you have first. Then once you've seen it all, get back to us on what you liked about it.

Empty your cup.
