Cut the animated Cut scenes.

Andromeda is no Mass effect, (the developers has been clear with this) is a new game, so we should do the effort to think differently.

 

They have said that Andromeda is not Shepard's story anymore. That we are completely done with that story arc.

 

It is however still very much so Mass Effect, and needs to remain Mass Effect if it's going to carry the franchise name.

 

So far it's mostly just the forums that have complained about it not being Mass Effect enough, because the one trailer we got doesn't really do a good job of conveying traditional Mass Effect imagery. They kind of went all space western in a manner that's more befitting of Firefly than it is of Mass Effect.

Seen it with InFamous. Not impressed.

Edit: Even if Iiked the game: But it was Cleary a way to have less cutscene. Big use of narrator.

Personally, I feel that they pulled it off alright with inFamous, especially because it looks much better than the pixellated in-game action. But I wouldn't want it in Andromeda.

I think that Mass Effect is not the type of game to do this, nor should it do this.

Personally, I feel that they pulled it off alright with inFamous, especially because it looks much better than the pixellated in-game action. But I wouldn't want it in Andromeda.

 

It was passable. An interesting way to gloss over the limit of the time (it was one of the first PS3 games, if I remember correctly). But it could have been better.

Still, is something I don't see well in ME. Most of the times the custscene are with a customizable character, it would be quite hard to make it in a simil-comic scene at every cutscene. Plus, it would not be compatible with the ME style.
