[The Amethyst Dragon]

The theme for this month's challenge: "Heroes and Villains":

  

Heroes and Villains: Fantasy/Comic/Movie/TV/Cartoon/Literary/Mythic Good Guys and Gals, their side-kicks and faithful companions, Bad Guys and Gals, and their nefarious minions, and creations. Items special to important individuals, features of their havens and lairs, hazards, plots and schemes.

 

This theme was suggested by Carcerian.

 

Guidelines:

It must be fully working in game.

Use of vanilla NWN or publicly available texture is fine.  Just remember that NWN textures must have dimensions in powers of 2 (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, etc.).

Teamwork is welcome.

Beginners most welcome. Don't be afraid, just try, you'll be surprised!

"Custom Content" includes many sorts of things: models, scripts, prefabs (areas, items, creatures, conversations, quests, etc.), sounds, portraits, or anything else new for the game.

All submissions must be finished, working, and emailed to NWNCCCMakers@gmail.com (or a non-Vault link provided) by July 1st, 2016. Sooner than that is perfectly fine too. ;-)

 

 

Somethings you could include in the download/email that would make packaging everything up easier and faster:

2da lines needed.

Screenshot from in game for use on the vault page (this also gives me hints on how to display the new goodie). Formats: .bmp, .jpg, .png, or .tga

Portraits (if needed) of your new goodie. Placeables and monsters should include a portrait.

Inventory icons (if needed) of your new goodie.

Any credits you would like listed.

If this is your first entry, please tell me what name you would like your work listed under and provide a link to your other NWN content if you want that displayed as well (the link bit is totally optional).

Also if you would like an invite to the CC Makers group, send Rolo Kipp a friend invite. The group is nothing spectacular, mostly just documentation on 2da lines.

 

Remember, the Challenge is all about fun, sharing, creativity, and surprise!

Ah, but I have seen ancient silent movie clips of such things as 'The Perils of Pauline" where such story lines were so common they are now cliché.

Ok i got little offroad with the Bound People.

They will come just i little late, becouse i have made minions from despitable me (normal, evil and zombie).

They fit this theme.

Also Minion is made completely from scratch (apart from texture from model resource).

Is anyone up to the challenge of creating a cenobite? I'd love to drop some in a horror module I've been working on!

Pythagoras was working in the 6th Century BCE, long before there were any monks (in your sense). Cenobite originally meant "common life". But we digress...

I don't know what you think "my sense" is, but I do count Buddhist monks as monks, which were around at the same time as Pythagoras.

Aballister Bonaduce: Mage of Castle Trinity that sought power. He was slain by his son Cadderly. Deceased

 

Alzegund the Trader: A Red Wizard of Thay and one of the intregal factors in Thay's creation of the enclaves. He was slain by a Rival. Deceased

 

Arendar: Active

 

Artemis Entreri: A renowned assassin, and one of the best swordsmen in the Realms. He has no peers and few equals. Active

 

Cassana:  A sorceress from Westgate with delusions of nobility and power. She created a vessel she hoped to use as a surrogate body. She was slain by that vessel, Alias. Deceased

 

Cutter of Iriaebor: Also known as Ravendas, cutter was a Zhentilar. She was part of a plot to bring about the Shadowking, and was slain when the Shadowking erupted from her body. Deceased

 

Cyndre: An evil mage who sought power. He tried to bend the Moonshaes to his will, but was stopped by King Tristan Kendrick. Deceased

 

Deirdre Kendrick: Seeking power, and following in the footsteps of Cyndre, Deirdre was Tristan's daughter. She was ultimately slain when her sister ran her through. Deceased

 

Dendybar the Mottled: A frail man and mage who sought power in Icewind Dale. He worked with Artemis Entreri, but was ultimately slain by a ghost he had enslaved. Deceased

 

Dracandros: Renegade Red Wizard of Thay who allied himself with Tyranthraxus in a bid for power. Deceased

Elaith Craulnober: An elf who considers humans a blight on Toril. He has shown a propensity to do anything he can to succeed in his goals.  Active

 

Flattery Wyvernspur: Flattery was the creation of Finder Wyvernspur. Rebelling against his 'father' Flattery attempted to destory the Wyvernspur family. He failed and was slain by Giogioni Wyvernspur, and disected by a group of adventurers including Ariel 'Midnight ' Manx. Deceased

 

Fzoul Chembryl: A cleric who worshiped Bane until Bane's death. He then worshiped Bane's successors, Cyric, then Iyachtu Xvim untilBane returned. Now, Fzoul is a demigod and one of Bane's most powerful and favored servants. Active Ghost An assassin in the employ of Aballistar Bonaduce, Ghost was slain and came back as a legitimate spirit, where he was destroyed again by Cadderly Bonaduce. Deceased

 

Gryphor: A Red Wizard of Thay who seeks power to rule Thay and all of Toril. Active Halastar Blackcloak The Mad Mage of Undermountain, Halastar Blackcloak has created one of the most dangerous and renowned dungeons in the world. Active

 

Mogion: A priestess of the dead god Moander.  She found a shard of Moander's essence in Yulash and uses it to fuel her and her cultists magic. Active
