Well, WW1 is relatively fresh. So maybe that's why.

That game probably won't be even remotely realistic. It would be extremely frustrating otherwise.

And what's the big difference really?

Both ideas should feel different than the "traditional" CoD experience.

And personally the idea of amazing space battles and Sci-Fi weapons is more interesting.

That's an understatement. It took months to even move 10 meters. If that.

I don't think it's going to be a problem and neither should you.  Two completely different genres, two completely different play styles.

I can see it already: Battlefield 1 objective 1: Sit around in a trench for 10 hours straight until you are allowed to sleep.

Next mission. You dare to try and attack an enemy position and get immediately shred to pieces by enemy fire. And then the credits roll. Glorious.

Basically it's dissing CoD and praising Battlefield.

I was wondering if any one else worries that this may well muddy the waters for the launch of MEA. You know space age soldiers. In a self contained war ship. Travelling the galaxy. Fighting bad guys with future tech. With air and space battles to boot. As it id due late this year Novemberish, Covering a similar kind of theme (as sci fi can be similar) Just wondering what imact this may have making MEA look kind of like jumping on the band wagon in the public perception. Yes I get MEA was started first but most will not.

Do you even know what you're talking about? That's deluded.

Nah.

He's just the only character with any depth or personality. He's pretty smart compared to some of the women Geralt puts his thang in too.

Interesting. You know I'll try some of that quarian if you don't mind.

Did COD 4 affect ME1's sales?

Battlefield 1 is more of a threat to Call of Duty if anything, especially if you look at the likes/dislikes bars on both reveal trailers on YouTube.

I actually doubt that those dislikes are going to be translated to lost sales, but I guess we'll see.

I get that, it's still just something to see.

I could see it since both have a sci-fi space theme going on, but COD is a FPS and Mass Effect is a Action-RPG. Plus COD:IW comes out in November while ME:A doesn't come out until early 2017, which would be anywhere from 2-5 months later.

Does the launch of new GPU affect the launch of an iPhone?

Completely diffrent animals.

(also, the whinefest with the CoD trailer has more to do with bundling the MW remaster with the digital deluxe edition with no news about selling it separately methinks. CoD is CoD, it will keep selling till the heat death of the universe simply by being the most casual-friendly and stress free shooter out there no matter how many tantrums the internet throws)

You're a ****, Zap. A Krogan one, so I'd guess you're a pretty big one, quad and all...

...and not unlike Javik.

Who knows.. maybe. I don't think the larger majority cares. Their games dwarf Mass Effect. As popular as people think ME is around here, objectively it's almost niche. Like Modern Warfare 3 sold 30 million. The entire ME franchise across all platforms and titles is 14 million or something.
