Call of Duty is a FPS while this game is a RPG that has TPS elements. The two games are different with different audience. It won't have a mass effect on the game sales regardless.

I was under the impression a lot CoD fans don't even like it.

 

That's the understatement of the century. If the YouTube dislikes are anything to go on, the game is already fervently reviled.

That is something that I will blame Bioware on and no one else. It is Bioware who started and fanned the whole "remhantic represhentashiun" gimmick in their talks, press conference, game promotion instead of focusing strictly on story and gameplay. Now the fanbase is responding in kind. IMO, Bioware deserves it.

First of all, both games differ a lot in many ways so ME:A will not have any effect from Infinity Warfare. Every game has its own community, they decide it all and I'm sure ME fans out there will definitely treat ME:A launch good unless they give us a bad trailer with lame music at EA Play/E3 2016.

 

From what I gather, CoD should be worried about Battlefield right now.

To be fair, CoD fans hate every new game, but still buy them in droves. I remember the ''boycott Modern Warfare 2'' movement being a flop because even the members of that group bought the game en masse.
