Show me where it's ingrained in our DNA. If it was, we wouldn't have the jealousy emotion. Therefore there is some sort of monogamy ingrained in our DNA.

Where di I put th.. here it is:

A competent and self-confident person is incapable of jealousy in anything. Jealousy is invariable symptom of neurotic insecurity.

Here you go. Jealousy has nothing to do with DNA and/or monogamy, it's just that some people are insecure, incompetent losers.

Beggars can't be choosers. Let's face it, no one here is overloaded with female attention. We'd be happy with almost anything.

for some maybe but you can't speak for everyone. Maybe you don't get many girls because maybe you're a douche. I wouldn't know, I don't really care.

Negative, OP. Just... negative.

They write up an arse, and I'll be hating their guts, then what.

Then you should drink less.

Even though merely saying that makes me a hypocrite.

I'm pretty confident they could write us a good single romance. Like I said earlier, not too hard. Just make her somewhat shy and all about the protag. It'll work.

Being a douche is no barrier to getting girls...from what I can tell.

Unless you're ugly. Or poor.

Not saying Bro is a douche though.. don't know him :P

I'll have to open you up. Go put that surgical gown on. Don't worry, I'm not a quack; I'm a professional.

Lol you must have a degree in your field. I hear it makes all your claims 100% accurate these days.

That would go totally against the wiring of our DNA. Having multiple zug-zug partners is hardwired into our DNA since the very beginning, for the procreation of the species.

But of course our idiotic society has deemed it's wrong (what do THEY know?) and even given it a name: adultery. Which, in the early, days was even punishable by death. Shows how stupid some people are. And those who practise "open marriage" are frowned upon, whereas they're the ones doing exactly what nature intended us to do:

PROCREATE, SPREAD OUR GENES AROUND

Modern studies have shown that unless you want us to run out of resources in 50 years, having more than 2 kids is a no no. So.... this doesn't even make sense anymore.

Plus hard wiring in our DNA? That's lame. There's such a thing as self control, especially if you love your partner more than anything and wouldn't want to hurt them.

EDIT:

I can't tell if you're serious or sarcastic....it's the internet. But this is just my opinion.

Why the **** would I want a little girl that is "shy and all about the protag"? Sounds more like you can't handle a real woman. :P

Give me someone like Jack  , then we can talk.

Sounds like you've never experienced a woman's warmth. Shy was a poor word choice. Humble/down to earth was what I intended. Jack, lol you're digging your own grave.

It's DNA 101. And there are "modern studies" on it as well. We are programmed to procreate & increase our numbers.

I understand DNA. I just say using it as an excuse for cheating is lame.

That being said, there are people in this world who are in closed marriages, open marriages, sexual fluidity, etc. And Bioware has always been good to appeal to whatever sexuality and situation in it's most recent games.

So I agree with monogamy, DNA wiring be damned. But it's ok, I choose to disagree amicably.

You are allowed to think what you want.

So, you want someone that looks up to you and worships you. Should she tell you that you are a good boy to and give you some hot chocolate when you are cold? sounds more that you want a mom than a soulmate.....

And what is wrong with Jack?

Too handsome for this world. But yeah, I'm agin it. I like choices, and I like choosing to hit on no one. If I have the ONE or even THE TWO standing there giving me puppy dog eyes, I'm going to feel just as guilty as I did shooting everyone down in DAO. (Look, I gave everyone lots of cake, but we're not making out.)

Is it mandatory for krogan females to sing "This girl is on fire!" when they mature?

If not, it should be.

It's no excuse, it's fact. "Cheating" and "adultery" are lame concepts our society has conjured up out of thin air. Just like......."twerking" and "friendzoned" and all those stupid labels. It sure as hell wasn't an issue back in ancient times.

I don't know if you are Christian, but Christianity has held firm to the ten commandments for a few thousand years. Thou shalt not commit adultery is the 7th commandment.

NOTE: I'm not throwing shade at anyone in open relationships, I'm not throwing shade at people who are not Christian. I respect everyone's opinions, and I understand yours, Remix. I'm just informing you that it is not a "lame, modern society concept." Monogamy goes back as far as marriage, except in rare cases of Kings.

We're now basing standard behavioral rules to a stupid religion that is 99% plagiarized from other older religions? Yeah I always said Moses dined on too many "magic mushrooms" to be taken seriously.

See, I was trying to be nice without belittling anyone by simply telling you that the concept of "adultery" has been around way longer than you claim. You are being downright rude and degrading to Christians, there's no reason to resort to that.
