So, I was just doing some brainstorming, and it is probably too early to tell one way or another anyway, but...
I think the likelihood of us attending to the Weisshaupt situation in the next Dragon Age to be highly likely. My theory on this is that they [Bioware] plan on tying in all of these Warden story arcs, and bringing in a conclusion, or at least a climax. So how will they do it?
There are a lot of elements to make this an interesting plot, at least in my opinion, and to start with I think the Grey Wardens little civil war is going to devolve into a full blown conflict. So, DA:I's Grey Warden scenario was kind of just a taste of what we may experience.
Given Dragon Ages' recent leaning toward the protagonist making political decisions, one such decision might be regarding the First Warden. If the First Warden appears to be corrupt, I'm willing to say the big decision will be who will replace him. Some obvious candidates in my mind are: the Warden/Warden Commander (as a cameo), Loghain (if he survives), Alistair (if he survives), Blackwall (if he joins the Grey Wardens), possibly Hawke (given his vested interest in their affairs), and lest I forget Stroud (if he survives).
Now, I imagine this as being similar to the Divine choice, but obviously there are a lot of factors that would affect which candidate is selected or elected; and if they are even around to be chosen. Maybe, I am grasping at straws though. Thoughts on this being a possible plot?
