That is the unfortunate truth of it. What Bioware needs is the same space and budget a developer like Naughty Dogs gets from Sony. If that relationship existed between the two there would be almost no issues here. Atleast lately Bioware has gotten decent development time for both DA:I and now this. We'll see if it helps in the long run.
True, the major problem with EA was the short development time, which seems to be fixed by now.
I do think though that plently of the complaints people made about recent Bioware's games was about the latter's decisions. For example, the major complaints about MP in ME3 was about the need to play that mode to achieve one ending, which isn't EA's fault of forcing (if they did) MP on Bioware, but the latter.
I don't really want to defend EA, which reputation is bad even without considering Bioware, but I think people should give Bioware more responsability for some of the faults they might've found in their recent games.
