Hypothetically, if EA were farm out the Mass Effect IP, what studio would you want on the franchise?

So... a nexus adds things to the game...??? Is there a way I can get these from my pc to my Playstation??? Usb??? Some of them look so pretty...

I love Skyrim so much... its pretty scary though... I didnt want to kill a bear so I tried to sneak past it really slowly but it woke up when I sneezed and my character must have done something loud to wake it up... my character is really pretty <3 Im on my way to... Bleak Falls Barrow to get a tablet... the Hadvar guy pointed it out to me when I was running away from the dragon... if I remember Skyrim every dungeon has zombies in so I need to find a friend to take with me...

... I would really like Bethesda to take over Mass Effect... I like picking flowers and looking at pretty mountains and sitting down and pretending to be an ordinary person and walking instead of running sometimes... does that make any sense???

No, you can't use mods on console unfortunately. (although Xbox One recently introduced them with Fallout 4) but last gen? Nope.

On topic: I would have to parrot the CDPR preference.

Although somebody mentioned Harebrained Schemes.. I've often entertained the thought of an isometric turn based Mass Effect like Shadowrun. It could work, and would probably be awesome.

Couldn't see Bethesda doing it though.

CD Project Red. NEVER Bethesda.

CD Project. But it wouldn´t be a Mass Effect anymore. Bioware has it´s own way to tell stories. Giving the project to someone else would change the game.

Obsidian or CDProjekt Red

Preferably a collaboration between both.

I think I know why Obsidian make good games, but badly in terms of performance/non-brokeness. For example, Fallout New Vegas only had three QA testers.

Fallout: New Vegas was pretty good.

Didn't have good shooting mechanics, but it did have good pacing and choice/consequence.

Rockstar???? You've gotta be kidding me.

They're pretty good with storytelling, I think they'd do alright ever they ever decided to make an actual RPG.

Rockstar games have the most derivative writing and laborious dialog of any games I've played. And being a pastiche doesn't excuse them from farming prime time TV and HBO for characters, plot and setting. Every NPC sounds like they suffer from a combination of Aspergers and ADD. The gameplay has always been subpar as well. So 'no' to Rockstar touching anything story or gameplay heavy.

I disagree, but whatever it's not like any of this will ever happen anyways. Which company would be your choice for replacing Bioware?

You forgot tourette's. The script of GTA V is 99.999% swearing and 0.001% "Homie". That is all. The transition from GTA IV to GTA V shows that Rockstar is clearly declining in the quality of their video games. GTA IV was somewhat tasteful and had a very fun multiplayer. GTA V was ridiculous and the multiplayer was just full of little kids, and overall was just a cash grab. I returned the game within 2 weeks, whereas I still play GTA IV. Especially on my PC because I've modded it so I look like Batman and I have a Tumbler from The Dark Knight and I spend my time recreating scenes from the film.

FYI, personally I'd prefer Obsidian or Naughty Dog, but I wouldn't rule out Square Enix. They may make a good job.

If they would, hipotetically, farm ME they should also do spinoffs, like making ME go XCom style. One year the action version, the next year the strategy version.

That's a good one actually- not their JRPG side of course but the studio that makes the Dues Ex games could do a fine job.

And on the rockstar suggestion. I don't know I'd quite like it. I can image playing a young miscreant on the citadel, embarking on various illegal shenenigans. :P

...I take it you never played Saint Rows 3 or 4? The President has quite the mouth on them. Not to mention things like the...melee weapon that looks like an adult novelty story item. :P

On topic: As much as I'm sick of hearing about them, CDPR. They have the experience with RPGs and I'd rather see that go to them, if such a thing needed to occur. I wouldn't trust Ubisoft or Activision to change my lightbulbs, much less have control over any BW IP.

Firaxis for a turn-based tactical spin-off.

When I play GTA it's feels so realistic.

Paradox Interactive so they could take the game into a new genre, specifically an RTS, with Stellaris having just come out the blueprint for a game like that is set
