Which forum should I use to address creature blueprints, in terms of making creatures actually as scary as they're supposed to be? (you know, dragons which actually use their breath weapons, and similar type stuff)  The various Vault categories had it so that I was never quite sure which forum was more appropriate.

For your use only: toolset or maybe scripting
For sharing: CC

Or we will send the internet police after you or something :P

Got it. I'd like to do some sharing on that count to get ideas - let me see what I've got that's readily-exportable, and I'll work on a Vault submission.

Anything you can do like that would be of interest, especially if it included the new creature additions that didn't come with blueprints based on the 3.5e MM. It's always extra work trying to get those properly filled out. You might check with PJ156 though, I think he was looking into that as well.

Mostly I'm having trouble coming up with "interesting creatures that do interesting things" rather than just relying on claw/claw/bite all the darned time.  I tend to home-roll critters, but I'll do what I can, yeah. and my PW has a working bulette and leucrotta I can throw in as well if Faerzess' work turns out to be SOL, just have to make all the file arrangements.

I hear that. It'd be interesting to have some boss monster variants with unique abilities and unusual features. But it's difficult to get good models for one-offs like that though; too much work for not much usage.

I think a working bulette and leucrotta would be most welcome. I don't think I've seen a bulette in a game since the old GoldBox series. There was a leucrotta in ToEE, and it made for an interesting change of pace encounter.

Like a lot of guys, a lot of my  one-offs tend to be simply scaled creatures with various effects on them. (and ofc the ongoing trouble of finding special abilities that creatures will actually USE).

I've got two big projects running that are PW-specific, but will start an export file to assemble something up. Keep bugging me if I'm slow to put it together.
