I used to play this game religious on Xbox, but the community died some time ago and I stopped playing. It would usually take me 40 minutes to find a single plat game.

No offense, it's just that there have been a lot of these threads lately.
At least in this case it was about someone swapping platforms, rather than the usual "hey guys I can't be bothered to simply log into ME3MP and search for a game myself, so I'm going to come here, log in, make a post and wait for replies to see if anyone still plays this game, because that's totally not 10 times as long a process or anything. I'm also not going to read any of the current threads or search, because that would likely give me my answer faster."

Certainly the player base seems to have changed somewhat since I first dabbled in MP all those years ago. There are plenty of player's but we now have people with no experience/ability in Gold PUGs. Still it keeps you on your toes.
I used to frown a bit about that but now I just consider myself in a solo match with those pugs as walking drones/decoys that can shoot-back at enemies sometimes. Only time it turns into a major disadvantage is when all other teammates bleed out at start of wave 10 escort objective. 
Also the hilarity ensues as the extraction round hits and 3 people are sitting in the landing zone at 1:50 to go. At that point I'm usually on the other side of the map with a bag of popcorn.
