I recently kicked up a game of Misery Stone.

However all my journal entries are blank.. I have the custom UI stuff in the right spot..

I know there is an issue around Module.jrl's needing to be moved to the Campaign folder but Misery Stone has no campaign - it's just one big fat module.

Any ideas? :(

One very large hak..

Anything I should look for? Most of it is custom models / vfx's ..

The 2da changes all look pretty standard..

There are 2 xml file overrides.. c_pael_skel.xml and nx2_ol_frame.xml ..

My overrides folder has object prefabs.. nothing else.. and a script override.

The journal file you are looking for is called module.jrl (even if it's in a campaign folder it's called that). Sounds like it's missing for some reason.

Misery Stone is only a module though.

Look for a module.jrl in your override folder.  There or in a hak are the only places a rogue module.jrl might be, since there's no campaign folder.  And since you probably didn't open up Misery Stone in the toolset and added a hak to it, the override is the only likely place.

I have no Module.jrl in my override folder (documents OR install location)

Misery Stone has none in the .hak and has no campaign folder.

I opened Misery Stone in the toolset and saved it as a directory and the MODULE.JRL is there...

I even opened the areas where journal entries are written.. there should be stuff written there....

I used nwnpacker to unpack the hak and module from the "manual install" link, the module.jrl is in the module folder. I opened it and it looks fine.

Yes. I did the "manual install". This is what I see when I first get control after the tavern intro.

I'm afraid I can't see any other reason why your journal isn't working, considering you saw that the journal has entries in the toolset and you say there's no module.jrl in your override (removing everything from the override is a good way to ensure there's none even in subfolders), and there are none in attached haks.  There is nothing else that could blank out a journal that I know of.

When I played it, I had no problems with the journal.

An override issue with the custom ui xml.. I guess the journal entries relies on those..
