All joking aside, I would like to see some form of barter system to reflect how probably worthless credits are in the new world. The same way European money was uselesss to the natives.I hate starting a sentence with this line but the currency conversion system was a really nice touch in le witcher 3. I would possibly also like to see a three size currency in play like gold silver and copper from Origins. 

 

I guess it all depends how complex/annoying it is to implement.

Probably a barter system more heavily reliant on favours since credit won't make sense. Realistically, it seems a bit odd that anyone selected for some one-way trip to another galaxy to escape the Reapers would have to try and buy something from someone else for such a journey since one would assume that resources are supposed to be shared. Guns and ammunition aren't exactly a resource that should be hoarded if fighting for survival though upgrading them is a different matter since it requires time and effort for an additional investment... Stuff like alcohol though makes more sense to trade for since its not exactly a required for survival item unless you're krogan or something.

Well I think Shepards Dalakaar suggested are probably something similar to Septims in The Elder Scrolls universe. A currency named after Shepard.
