Hello small group of KOTOR fans and such. I realize there is a SWTOR forum as well but I just, preferred to post here I guess.
I was just wondering how you guys ultimately felt about SWTOR... I actually have to say I was rather impressed by the game on a number of levels, I liked how many things they kept at least the same style/theme like the animations and stuff were pretty flashy and fun. I know I've seen people talk about it in other threads but I thought it might be fun to discuss here as well.
I can't say I was really hyped past the main campaign though, Hutt Cartel and the Starfighter, and even KOTFE I pretty much lost any interest playing past level 50.
That said, I recently contemplated going back and completing a different storyline like perhaps the Jedi Consular, overall I think the game had a lot going for it amazing OST lots of companions/interactions and a very liquid quick/accessible game system. I was very much enthusiastic about it and sunk a lot of time into it.
So for me, I think the base game of SWTOR was really super impressive and I'd take it over WoW and a whole heap of other games, but the expansions and just kind of general hang turned me off a big deal, so these days I haven't really been playing it.
I definitely think the tie-ins to KOTOR were pretty super weak to be honest, Revan and HK and the whole situation just felt thrown-in rather than the big epic thing it could have been.
