I went to Wales to visit my sister and even though she was the driver the whole trip, when I came back to Denmark I suddenly found myself driving in the wrong side of the road. I hadn't even realized it until I looked it in the back mirror and saw the car behind me was in the other lane lol. Luckily there was no car from the opposite direction coming against me at the time. But it took me a while to get used to.

You are a weird Italian.   Can't blame you though. I love the sport, but yeah, everything surrounding the money in it is vile (particularly FIFA), and that includes the World Championships. I'm probably not going to tune into Qatar 2022 out of protest, not that that'll bring back the slaves that have already died to build the venues. Well, let's say I'll not tune in unless USA (or Russia, birth country) somehow get through the group stage.

Well, I was 6 years old in 1994 so I don't really know what you're getting at.

 

Regardless, I feel like World Championships are enough over the threshold of (enjoyment I get from watching them) / (shivers I get thinking at all the shitty stuff that's going on). At least it's once every four years, it doesn't swarm our lives every single ****** day without a respite option, and I feel like it's less likely to be driven by money and sheit result-wise, since I think everyone in the world roots for their own team. So yeah, I watch them and enjoy them too. I guess one could accuse me of not being coherent, but hey, it's a little vice I allow myself, let's see it that way

We haven't been doing well in the World Championships for years, though that probably has much to do with all the money being thrown hand over fist at the GP effort (not that I'm complaining). I'm just glad as is that Hutchy's deal with that Chinese run MV team fell through

Ha, I had you figured a Triumph sort of guy but figured it was to obvious/stereotypical given where you're from. I've actually heard nothing but good things about them (contrary to common "knowledge" that they're of typical British Quality™) and we do have a Daytona 675 owner who sometimes rides with us. It's a gorgeous bike and sounds either angelic or demonic (depending on how hard it's being thrashed at the moment).

Dat pic   . The terrain down here in the southern States/ Gulf coast isn't anything like that. Doesn't mean I can't get good shots every now and again

but it's nothing as beautiful as that. I'd really like to organize a road trip to some of the....more scenic(?) parts of the country (particularly want to see the pacific northwest), but a lot of leave with the current job is a no go.

Also can't give you enough thumbs up for the comment on steering wheels  . Poor cager problems.

Funny you say that... if you look in the back of that peter pipers pizza picture,, you will see a terminator salvation game....I played it with my sister and my niece...she really loved killing robots with the toy guns....it's really dope..it has 2 m-16 guns like old school time splitters.........I asked the manager if I could buy it from them...the price was ridiculous.......

When I drove in Australia, it was a nightmare. Not really for the side of the road, which I got accustomed quite soon, but... Because the turn signals and the wipers are inverted!   It drove me crazy, I kept using the turns to wipe my windshield and wiping it when I needed to turn, even after a whole week! 

Heh. Whenever I see people writing about a journey to 'Straya or 'Murica, I just feel awful for myself, 'cause I was born in this sh*thole called Hungary. Balkan-ish levels of corruption and salaries. I don't have a damn chance of visiting any of those countries unless I rise way over the level of what I was born into. I'm on it. I'm on it.
