Okay you two both have strong points but you don't understand, my dad is just like me, I got this exactly from him, he will fight me for driving fast and racing but no one wants to drive in a car with him because they're afraid. I can't help it, it comes naturally, the racing and then the pride if someone is driving faster than me... Oh boy.. that pisses me off and I just GOTTA be the fastest one and I almost always beat them. It's weird to feel this way but I blame my dad.

I'm sorry, I should't tell people what to do in their lives, but I lost 2 classmates in car accidents and I saw a man getting rammed by car doing 100+ in a 40 zone. He was just riding a bike - next thing he was splattered all over the asphalt. You have no idea how human brain starts to stink in 30+C And that ******* who killed him didn't even slow down.

I'll happily blame my dad for all my worst traits too, but if I kill or injure someone because I'm driving too fast? Well, that's on me.
I agree with BH that I don't like telling other people how to live their lives, but car drivers are slowly but surely turning into the most retarded fuckwits on the planet, primarily because their MePhones are continually beeping and distracting them.
It's half an hour long, but this documentary might be the thing that saves your life. Or someone else's.

I get both of you. Accidents happens a lot when someone isn't paying attention or because of some stupid pride. I appreciate that you think it's wrong to drive fast and I promise to consider being more careful about it in the future, I'm not just saying that. It's a bad habit I need to break but anything is possible once I put my mind to it.

I don't think it's wrong to drive fast. I drive fast too, but I do on a race track. If I kill myself there - big deal, but I probably won't kill anyone else, who didn't have a death wish.
If dumbasses of the world spent as much money in preventing car accidents as "preventing" so called "terrorism" we would have this sucker in a bag.

I agree. Don't know why I never considered race tracks before, it might actually be a good idea, a good way to let off some steam as well. I always wanted to drive a motorcycle too but never learned how, always dated guys who had them instead, maybe it's not too late to learn. It could be pretty cool ![]()

Stupid stupid stupid photovan took my picture because I drove too fast!!
I was driving 110 km in a place where it was allowed to drive 90. I'll post the picture here when it arrives with the mail in 3 weeks! Why couldn't the cop just have pulled me over psychically? Why?? At least that way I would have gotten out of it easily! Stupid van!
To be fair, that's kinda what they're supposed to do OWA. And sure you might've gotten a speedy character from your dad but it is you who decides whether you wanna speed or not while you're driving, not your dad. Blaming your actions/impulses on genetics is just evading taking responsibility for your actions. Also best to reconsider before posting as such on public forums.
Not trying to blame you or anything, just calling it out as I see it. Stay safe. ![]()

I get the rest but why should I reconsider before posting it in public? I didn't exactly kill anyone, that's not what I posted about. People here are posting far worse gibberish than me.

Just because others are idiots doesn't mean we have to outdo them do we?
Not saying you're posting gibberish, just that posting about breaking the law isn't exactly an ideal thing to do.

Are you kidding me? I got a speeding ticket... I didn't rob anyone or kill anyone, don't you think you're exaggerating a bit? Excuse me but I'll post about that if I want to.

What I see is a competitive vib which can be good or bad depending how you channel it. Perhaps you could consider channeling that energy into something that is alot less reckless? Just my 2cents

I also got a speeding ticket for driving 32.7 km/h instead of 30 km/h in a town. That's 18 mph for those that are still on the retro system.I get the rest but why should I reconsider before posting it in public? I didn't exactly kill anyone, that's not what I posted about. Guess that makes me a big bad wolf. I'm sure my gearbox screams when it has to drive that slow. Way back, I Had a professor that gave a large test the very next day after an inter-college match. His daughter was killed by a drunk student behind the wheel. So he relived the agony every year. He hated students. He hated alcohol. He hated cars. I think it accurate to say he hated life because his daugther's had been taken. I agree that we should have zero tolerance for some stuffs or the combinations, but we shouldn't go binary on people being people. The dude that have not driven faster than the speed limit has not been born yet. Put down the stones guilty ones, go home.
Btw - Learned that Canada has the highest prevalence of drunk driving in the 1st world countries, last week. Wadda u know... Vancouver is still one of the most beautiful cities I've seen.

It's something to work on for sure Caine. It's a bad habit but it can be worked on, I just gotta put my mind to it. I come from the military, got my license there, I always drove fast, it's something I've done my whole life, so it's not easy to just stop but in time I will be able to, I know this ![]()

Because I always do
I just smile, look very innocently and confused in their eyes and they always smile back and say something along the lines with it "oh don't worry about it, drive safely, just don't let it happen again " ![]()

That works? When I get that vibe, I'll write the speeding cite and start looking harder for registration violations. The pretty ones never think it will happen to them...
