You look a bit like the guy from the TV show Scrubs :) It's a very nice picture! :)

You mean JD ? You're right, there's a little something :D (nice photo Jackums BTW)

Dr Cox was my favourite character on this show, I miss all his terrific sarcastic punchlines !

Funnily, JD is one of my nicknames (my name is Jack Daniel).

I've never watched Scrubs, but thank you. o/

That's a really nice name, I like it :)

And this is JD, I think you look like a more handsome version than him, even though he's pretty handsome too! :)

Hell yeah! You're never too old to love dinosaurs!

Incidentally have you guys read the books the Jurassic park movies were based on, by Michael Crichton? Or the original Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle? They're pretty good reads if you peeps like such kinda stuff.

Read the Jurassic park books. The movies were a disappointment. Or rather the rest of the movies were. The first one followed the book fairly closely.

The books were excellent.

I saw the movies when I was a kid and then happened upon the books later on. I found the movies fun since anything with dinosaurs is great when you're a kid but yeah the books are way better and blows them out of the water! His other works are quite excellent as well.

Nope, but I've seen the 1992 and 2001 TV movies of the Lost World. That was the kind of shows that were broadcasted during the holidays. Great stuff, I like this kind of stories that foster the imagination.

Yep, pure blue sky and sea, with cute white houses. You just need to don't mind the heat if you go there in the summer (I personally don't but I know some people do).

Yeah I read Jurassic Park and loved it :) But not the one from Doyle, no.

Uh? I actually thought the movie was so completely different from the book. So many more deaths in the book...

Still, the first movie was pretty awesome, regardless of that :)

It was during May, the temperature was around 25°C (with a nice and fresh wind) so it was fine. But be careful if you're (or your familly/friends) sensible to sunburns like me ! I catched a bad one the second day I was there >_> I had to hide my skin as much as possible after that ~

edit : 25°C is apparently 77°F

I totally get you. I don't mind heat (even 40-45°C don't bother me much), but as I have a very clear skin, I've to be careful with the sun.

I can't take the heat at all, anything above 23 degrees and I become grumpy / melt. I prefer the colder Irish climate tbh.

I went to Venice once, in the heart of summer, and the only way I survived was by literally moving from shadow to shadow.

Nice place though.

Hehe, what did you think I did? But yeah, I prep them after they're excavated from the field and then put them back together for either storage, research, or to be put on display.

Dinosaurs are one of my favorite things ever!

You certainly aren't! I'm glad I never outgrew them.

I've read the books and almost all of his other books. They're great. I haven't read the original Lost World though. I'll look into it. But even if the books are better I still enjoy the movies. Jurassic Park is my favorite movie.

Lol, you remind me about a Breton I had talken to who couldn't stand temperatures above 25°C. It's a matter of habit I guess, I live in a city (Lyon) which, while not being deeply in the south of France, is very hot during the summer (more than 35°C isn't rare in july and august).

But really, if I had to pick one, it would be Brontosaurus. Now it's called Apatosaurus but I still call it a Brontosaurus.
