I like a man who takes charge. I'd say "manly" again but some people think it's wrong to use that word, so I'll explain what it means to me. It means he isn't afraid to take charge or take the lead, ofc doesn't mean he should disrespect her but I like it ultimately when he is mostly in charge, I'm a bit old fashioned, probably because of the military. I like gutsy too! Too many guys today are too scared or easily scared off or they expect the woman to do most. Oh and one of the most importantly things, I love it when he's protective xD

I do like girls who take charge and I also think mean/crazy (preferably a good mix of both) women are insanely hot... but theyre optional extras and id never say no to someone because they dont fit my idea of an ideal woman... everyone is perfect in their own way and if I love someone they will be perfect to me no matter what most peoples idea of a dream girl/guy is completely unrealistic... people shouldnt be compared to perfection because everyone has flaws... you need to think of the people you love as perfect because of their flaws

Sure that's your ideal of a partner Gen but each person has their own requirements. I've tried being with the wrong people way too many times and now I'm extremely picky, that's my decision. I chose who I want to be with, who I decide to love. I really don't care what others think of that. I've been through enough in my life to know that I know what I want if I ever decide to say yes to someone again. Right now I'm happy without that relationship hassle.

If you ever have a chance to pick up some Ardbeg Uigeadail, I highly recommend it. It's not ridiculously expensive (maybe $60-70 US), and it's cask strength, so it stretches out farther than you would think. Really awesome stuff.

Im... kind of a feminist??? I support womens rights... but i support the rights of everyone... but feminism only deals with womens rights uhhh hence the name so im kinda an... equalitist??? There are ways that men arent equal to women and ways women arent equal to men and both need to be solved... not just one... not just one group of people... you know??? There are problems for everyone and in my eyes focusing on one group of people when problems like equality affect everyone irrespective of gender is just wrong... it might be worse for some rather than others... but just because there is someone suffering more than you in the world doesnt mean your suffering is any less... and its wrong in my eyes to focus on one group of people and ignore the suffering of others... is this making any sense??? I just think everyone should have their voices heard regardless of who they are

Yes agreed but to expand on that point from my pov, I think that self betterment is never ending. Everything about a person can be improved, it's just the person's willingness to be the best they can be. If they try their best and come up short, you're there for them to pick them up and tell them it's okay I got you. That to me is how you accept flaws in a person and what makes a good relationship works ^^ Perfection is very hard to achieve. So I will accept a person when I know they are doing the best that they can. And of course it goes without saying that they also need to listen and show some respect, empathy and honesty for me too. There is nothing worse when someone tells you "Accept all my flaws. I don't have to change. You don't need to teach me anything.". From my experience nothing good ever comes out of a relationship where one person is too selfish

Yis ^^ All bad experiences have their silver lining. They definitely tell you what you want, what you do and don't deserve in a relationship. You shouldn't be in a relationship because you're lonely but be in one when you are ready

Yup, I'd never choose to be in a relationship just because I'm alone. I'd rather be alone for the rest of my life than be with the wrong person one more time. Besides, I quickly feel suffocated when I'm near another person like that all the time, some guys are just too clingy and I need my space. I'm doing just fine, finally free of that jerk of an ex husband, not gonna ruin having peace now.
