I'm the exact same. Didn't like skyrim at all but loved those you mentioned, especially The Witcher, that game is so amazing.

I'm out of likes btw :(

Life is strange first episode is free on steam... or at least was a couple days ago when I checked. Should get it?

Anyway, you fools, The Elder Scrolls was the best thing to happen to video games since super Mario bros! :P

So true. And cloudy in Claudy - genius lol. Ahoghill might be another good one....

And please tell me that picture wasn't taken at Barry's?? ;)

I'm originally from Cullybackey.... so I had no chance whatsoever at mastering any other kind of accent :)

German isn't one of her languages (though it is kinda one of mine) but if I said Ahoghill to her she would probably reply "Gesundheit!" Your native area isn't too far removed from road-racing territory, so she's familiar enough with the accent. It took three or four goes, but she eventually got the humour -

Is that a souffle or a meringue?

Naw, you're right enough, it's a souffle.

As for the picture being taken at Barry's, well, ok, it's not.

That's a lie, obviously. My parents met in Barry's in 1960. My mum was a Sunday School teacher, supervising the annual excursion, and my dad was some oul perv, checking out the Sunday School teachers. He still claims to this day that he 'won the goldfish' that year. Barry's: Getting Prods Laid For More Than 50 Years!   ;)

Also, opening this post up to be understood on a more international level, I just have to add that it appears Onewomanarmy may have the most appropriate username of anyone here!  :D

Also, I highly recommend Life is Strange. It's not perfect, by any stretch, but it is a genuinely well made, innovative approach. I'm a photographer, so the subject matter appealed to me directly, but I also found inhabiting the head space of a young college girl to be far less alien than I would have expected. As I said, it's not perfect, but it is well worth playing - especially if the demo is available for free. I played the demo and paid for the rest of it immediately on completion.  :)

Life is strange is a wonderful game, if you can try it for free then... what are you waiting for ??? XD

Really I loved it, also the musical atmosphere is amazing <3 I have to admit I cried 2 times (well, I'm super emotive but still, the game just blew me away)

and oh french discussion here XD Please no more "je suis une porte" or I will die laughing XD => french person here.

BTW, Loufi, you're french too, I saw that :)

I honestly have to say I never ever go on the french section of the BSN because it looks soooo dead and I always enjoy to have discussions with people around the whole world than just my own country.

<3 Have hugs !

Now please excuse me, "Odin Sphere" is waiting for me on my PS4.

Yep. Same here, I've visited the french section maybe once or twice, it has never been as active as here. Right now the most recent post is dated from june 30th ! Besides, I agree, it's more pleasant to talk with people from all around the world.

Thank you :) My sister came up with it actually the day I was signing up here. I couldn't come up with anything good, then she suddenly said "why not onewomanarmy? It would suit you perfectly" and I loved it, so that's how it all began lol :)

And I will be back to like all your posts, I'm still out of likes. I hate when I can't like posts :(

I think Skyrims strength isnt in the main quest but in the faction quests and the depth of the world and things like that... Mass effect is different :) the strength is in the main quest and the world and the side quests are just things to do to pass the time :)

I thought Dishonored looked fun though... like a mix of Skyrim and Assassins Creed... im playing both and thought it would be fun ;)

... I think im a computer game masochist instead of finishing a game and then playing another I just keep buying more and more insanely long games for some reason ;) im stacked up high with games to play and I want morrreee ;)

Well Skyrim is more of a sandbox game where you have the freedom to do whatever you want, especially with the mods. I have to say that some of the mods for skyrim are truly brilliant in their level of detail and perfection akin to something made by AAA titles. I've mostly used the audio and visual overhauls along with a bunch of gameplay, character and story ones. Don't forget the immersion mods like wet n cold etc because everything has to be immersive as f#$%

I also feel like Skyrim lets you make your own unique stories as you play along, with a little use of imagination. It's like play dough, as in the game can almost be whatever you want it to be. Wanna be an evil vampire lord who feeds on the blood of his enemies? Sure thing. How about a hairy clown in leather underwear who likes to smash things with a big club? No problemo. This freedom along with the numerous innate quests already in the game as well as the plethora of quality mods is what I find to be so charming about Skyrim. Hey it's no Kubrik but it sure is tons of fun!

I agree for the mods. This is the game with the best mods and yeah you have freedom to do whatever you want but in my opinion it's not enough. But as i said it's my opinion.I know the fans of the game won't agree with me.

Nope you're perfectly valid to think that it's not enough, it's a subjective matter after all. It's kinda like saying you don't like gummy bears because they're just sugared chewy candy. You are correct of course but then again some people really like gummy bears because of that, myself included. Different strokes for different folks..

Exactly! There is one interesting thing about me.Usualy i don't like games without a great story but i liked dark (dork :D ) souls series.Perhaps the gameplay mechanics impressed me or the challenge but i liked the games enough to finish them.So as you said it's a subjective matter.

Dork souls does have one of the best stories and background lore I've ever seen in gaming though. Check out the souls lore videos, you might be surprised.

I've always been curious about those games, dark souls and demon souls. My sister loves them and can't get enough and I know several bsners who also loves them. I just heard that they were a bit annoying because they don't have any save points plus something about losing all your equipment if you die, it requires a lot of patience from what I could understand and I don't have that. I really want to try them but I don't want to waste money if it turns out I don't like them.

Isnt dark souls the super hard one???

... the masochist in me wants to play it and the gaming masochist also because morrreee games... the sensible part of me which is super small and easily overwhelmed says it isnt a good idea ;)
