I would be satisfied with a unambiguous public admission that DA4 is a thing that exists!

I am afraid that it would be a strategy game, not RPG.

The strategy game that they are probably doing will be spin-off if it eventuates, not the next installment in the main series. (Mark Darrah answered this on Twitter; it's somewhere in the Twitter thread but I have no idea where.)

Personally, I am excited by the prospect of a spin-off series, although I understand that not everyone likes both genres.

Now when will it be broadcast for DTV so I can actually watch it and not use up my limited internet data allotment to do so? (as in DTV has no internet, it needs to be on a normal or Pay Per View Channel)

Are there any video game channels left...?

"Is that a serious question?"

To answer seriously - It looks like it is all streams, even E3 content. I could be wrong, but I don't even own cable TV anymore  :) . I speak only Netflix and Internet language now.

Fair enough. I spent two hours searching that twitter and finally got it.

Be nice if I could but, I can't afford any more data from my ISP. Already paying 200/month (with taxes and VOIP) for 30 GB/month.  30 GB and two people, you don't stream anything if you want your operating systems, drivers and antivirus up to date and want to play one game online for three hour per week, download one audio book a month and two podcast. That's it, data gone.

Okay, it looks like the EA Play app is actually called *EA Events* and I can see that it's available on the Apple store (and, I assume, Android).

I'll update the OP.

Just checked. I can't see it on the European Android play store...

The only sort of DA news I think we are likely to get, assuming we get any at all, will be in one of those slideshow presentations where they flash a bunch of franchise logos and whatnot on the screen for 1-2 seconds. I've seen this in presentations before. They highlight "what we can look forward to in the future" and throw up a bunch of things. Sometimes they might be followed by an actual clip, and sometimes not, it depends on the series. On occasion, I've seen/heard the audience go insane once the mere hint of a certain logo is displayed.

Dear Electronic Arts,

It it five-thirty in the goddamn morning where I live, and I just woke up for this. Kindly reward me with something good!

('Something good' does not have to be BioWare related, but it would probably help.)

Love,

Andraste

... still, this somehow feels like progress compared to staying up all night waiting for Dragon Age news. I am so going back to bed after the press conference, though.
