I think the trailer was excellent. Sure, it didn't show a lot but it's enough to explain many theories going around as well as show the massive potential. My imagination is ready for you to take it with them Bioware. It looks amazing.

Don't think EA wants this game super hyped when it's so far out from release. No sense stealing hype from their huge fall lineup with games like Battlefield either. Also might be getting another delay so we'll see.

Their sport franchises are what makes them the most money. It's understandable why they focus on those specifically. Why focus on games that bring in a fraction of what their sport games bring in. It's smart on their part.

Agree on the money part, but they sell themself. Fifa doesn't need anything new because it sells because people know what it is and how it functions, it is the same year in year out. They didn't even promote Mirrors Edge Catalyst which just came out. If they want their "lesser" known franchises to succeed, what better way to promote them then with this press briefing. The press is there, they write about it and word spreads. I am dissapointed in EA, this play conference and event was to show that they wanted a connection with their fans, and they didn't deliver, not even close.

So is anyone actually watching the EA Play event so far?

We had an hour of Battlefield 1, some Titanfall 2 stuff, FIFA stuff, and now a PC building contest.

Got to say...everyone bitching about lack of gameplay from EA is not paying attention.

Titanfall 2 trailer was really damn good. But that's the type of gameplay trailer I was expecting for MEA. Not, like, MP of course. But showing some combat moves or something.

Anyone recognize the VA?

I wish... Ryder doesn't look bad at all. I mean, wow, girl.

They showed some stuff.

And thanks to that, we now know that BioWare finally switched over to mocap.

We knew that months ago when they tweeted about it, even showing a couple of pictures. One of the pictures is even a scene in this new trailer, the krogan holding the human over a cliff.

Listened a few times, it's not deep like Claudia Black or Jack's VA...and is American which rules out a few ppl. I'm hoping they've gone for someone less well known, in which case she would be harder to recognise.

WIth the different rear engine, as I've mentioned somewhere.

I'll go ahead and call it the UT-47B Kodiak.

UT-47 is the standart transportation Kodiak

UT-47A had a mass driver weapon added, as well as a (prototype, so likely a sub-variant of the A-model) stealth drive.

UT-47B would have further eezo core upgrades, as well as thruster upgrades, likely.

As for Quarians - I took a close look at the "explosions combat pulled out the Avenger shot some dudes" part of the trailer. The helmet did look a bit Quarian at first, but a closer look at the character's anatomy said it's most likely a Human or an Asari.

Yep.

I guess I shouldn't have expected as much. Battlefield 1 and Titanfall are releasing within the next 4-5 months, so of course they'd get a lot more shown.

Maybe we will hear more about MEA tomorrow. Microsoft has to announce the backwards compatibility version of ME2 and 3...

well I think we can agree that it wasn't as big as information that we were hoping to get but I think this is a good thing in a way They giving us information that's get Uscurious enough to want more but not enough to spoil it I feel that I don't need to give that too much information to build this game so long as they give us the right amount of information we should be happy that and we need to remember they still got a long way to go to get this game done before release date so it's best that we don't Complain about the lack of information because when they feel ready to give us the important information like plot mechanics characters gameplay and all that they will release that information when they feel 100% confident that the information is good enough to share

One thing I learned from watching a stream w/ chat available is that the chat feature is a complete waste of resources. The gaming community involved is filled with the same type of immature posters as other social media, and brought nothing positive to the experience, IMO.

Will try and stick with streams only in the future.

The Microsoft Livestream is starting in 23 min (which... might have MEA footage), but the interview with Geoff is still another ~6 hours away.

Yep, I know. Should have added that Livestream altogether, not exactly what we're waiting for. You know... Don't mind me, I had strange day...
