I don't think it is a case of offending anyone, merely reflecting the fact that it is 2016 and things have moved on.
Hell even Disney is going against its traditons as it has realised it needs to adapt (for example gay Elsa). I don't think that gruff mcdudeson really cuts it anymore, or at best appeals to much smaller market than it used to.

Maybe if they do a female focused marketing campaign they have a small pop up message that says 'Still your cries of anguish! You can still play as your white, short haired stubbly gruff voiced man! BW promoted a male and female Inquisitor in the trailers, and in the final game you can play as a female or male character. There's no lie here. There's no logical connection between your points.

Bioware's problem is they don't want just one demographic, they want all the players and all the minorities at the same time.

The most worrying thing is that this includes all the subhumanity's species you can find around in the world. From crap-lickers to blatant ephebophilics, up to cannibals who lurk in the deepnet. The true and greater freedom a customer has got, is to buy or not to buy. Many forget that.

 

At school I was taught that the only guarantee for the customer is to pay, it’s the law of supply and demand. Why the commercial advertising, rightly the free market’s paladin, is the first to not play fair? Why does it continuously want to give me presents, free mugs, coffeepots, supplements, books? Why does it present so much stuff? Has it got something to hide? It doesn’t feel confident in its quality? Why, in a world where walls and dictatorships fall, advertising hasn’t got the bravery to renounce being mandatory and to become optional? My freedom is to pay, aside from advertising.

A tv channel and a radio station could be exclusively dedicated to commercial information, clearing however the other channels. Every consumer could be then free to choose his own share of advertising.

Newspapers should gather commercial information in special detached files, being sold in a kiosk at their real cost. The market would make the name of the best ones. Why the posters (cars, toilet paper, cigarettes), must be in every place, rather than in special exhibitions with a reasonable entering ticket? I think advertising would very much benefit from the market’s strengthening action. Its quality would probably increase a hundred times and its quantity would decrease as much. We would get more with less. Maybe even many companies and press agents should realise that not only eastern Europe customers, but also western ones, are fed up of paying before, only to receive then the same inevitable soup, the same for everyone, expensive and too much spicy.

You can do this to all games.

I bought it years after it was originally out.  If I had known what it was when it came out, I would have bought it then.  That said, I would have pitched it in the trash at the end.  Luckily I had all the dlc so had the Broken Steel which took care of the ending for me.

Too much bad photoshop skills. One can't read two letters of Andromeda (Mass Effect Andreda?). And the Bioware logo isn't depicted anywhere. It would normally belong under the EA one just much smaller, just as EA marketing dictates.

It's my poor translation, thanks for your kindness, doc!   Instead of pointing at its poorness you would do a service by stating which mistakes are there, like any decent grammar nazi would do.

And I'd argue why the argument is dopey: stating an argument is dopey/wrong without explaining why is a form of escape from debating by committing a logical fallacy. You presume you have told the reasons, and you still haven't demonstrated them.
