Right now i am upset over the falling through the map bug. I land in front of the outside door with pieces of the floor missing. I try to jump in a hole to port to the door but suddenly i find myself in the 5th part in a poison room. I die. I revive off a leech ring... and then everyone gets stuck. We were on the 4th map. So i quit the map and i lose connection to Bioware. (and every time i quit a room after that).

 

Then the game starts hating me. (it always hates me but worse than usual). Stuff like poison map with 4th darkspawn map while i was actually contemplating the crap it could possibly pull out on a lvl 18 assassin on routine. It managed to get me killed. I was so upset i destroyed one of my daggers.

 

Then it does not pick up i think. I'm not playing MP again tonight even though it's early. I mean i got used to the qunari and the darkspawn coming up 80% of the time. I am not kidding, if it is not one of these, i am shocked. But this stuff just doesn't fit as randomness anymore.

Map bugs usually have to do with your internet connection speed.   You may want to check that.

Or with the Host in case you are not the host yourself. There are a lot of ppl out there who should simply not host a game but to be fair it´s all not coded well, even with top hardware and internet you have problems -.-

Yesterday I restarted a game cause was totally laggy ... no wait I teleported around and I was host. Happened first time when I was the host but still annoying.

As host, solo, got disconnected from server, so the DA servers were dogshite yesterday.

 

Tends to happen on a Tuesday and at Weekends.

For some reason if I play in NM (as a Saarebas) and join a Non-FC run that has a Virtuoso already playing, its crashes my DAI every single time.  But FC is ok. Arrrggg!! Stooopid.

I think I must have bought the Heartbreaker PLUS edition.

 

Feels like I am losing packets on the attacking side and lagging on the damage taken side(but damage taken still catches up with me)

 

Sometimes I just feel so underwhelmed at how fast I kill when I am not hosting.

 

Maybe I just shouldn't play with guys that are 3200 and 3550 Prestige. (even though I know a shite-ton of promotes are in Cunning for them c.750)

 

That is the true source of my frustration.

 

I am now on the quest for more CON so I can survive better as a level 1 mage the way I see others do !

Edit: So my whole game is not moving. I get started daily facu huge bull like an all shield darkspawn on raver where i have nothing to get through a frontal shield. I try various difficulty according to the character and very often i face just stupid odds. There is no immersion. Or not a good one anyway. I just want to log on and kill an hour or two without thinking too much. I hate my current experience.

 

Edit x2: Oh and i started dying. Just because...

You should probably avoid Reaver until you are stronger

Use mighty blow to knock shield guys down.   Or just keep using devour if they block.   It is really fun when it has no cooldown if they block your devour.

Even now I still get so angry at the game for things that are blatantly unfair.

 

1. Yesterday walking in an area that had already been cleared, the key dropped and we were looking for pots. Full guard/ full heath just evaporated into thin air like I was being attacked. WTF?

 

2. On FC 1/1 Qunari shield dude all the way in the other side of the bridge, me - not even on the bridge yet. He does a shield bash and knocks me down from 20-30 metres away? Wut?  Really? Come on!!!

 

3. My Saarebas can practically solo Peri now at level ten-ish or higher. My Keeper at level 19 with full barrier (and all the passives) will still die with two arrows or a single shield bash. Total BS there folks.

Raver was to be my most resilient character because of active health regeneration. If i can't play it i would be stuck leveling in routine to 20 unless i can find something else to take to threatening consistently.

 

The more i seem to push to move forward, the more i seem to push myself off this game.

If you've got the drake armour at least, then I'd say the silent sister would still be one of the more durable with guard on hit, and still put out decent damage at low promotes. Can't see why you shouldn't be able to handle threatning from low levels.

 

Also Proto did some videos here somewhere of different characters soloing perilous with no promotes on his alternate account. Obviously a bit of learn-to-play involved as well, but shows what is possible.

I'm letting it sit for a while, play other things. If i come back to it i would figure out what i want to play. I know i need more promotions, and prolly CON. Thing is i don't want to be stuck grinding the same class until i have enough promotions.

You know this game has never been like a job.  But I have played MMORPG where it was like a job you have to go to raid every night for hours and hours.  If you miss one night, they would be missing a healer or tank or whatever and fails.  Good thing my raid days are over.
