Ended up fixing my templar.

I got a 23 purple sword. It had a better dmg per hit than the mace i had but 1H swords only have 7 cloth upgrades so it didn't have any health leech. I still had the 21 purple, plugged a 4 cotton cloth upgrade on it and fixed the jewelry. Now i prolly should be able to play the 5 warriors as the 2 hander already has decent health leech. 21 blue though. I kept getting 15-16 purples but base dmg was just not better.

(font just because :P)

Keep an eye out for bitter axe.  I still use it on NM because it is fun to see things blew up.   One time I was playing someone using the Taz bow in FC.   After we were done with map 1, there were meat chunks all over the bridge.  It was so gross and so awesome.

Tazpedam is wonderful (apart from no HoK). It lets you know when you have made a kill at the other end of the dungeon. And I like to see the twinkly, twinkly lights in the sky. <Maniacal laughter! He, he, he!>

Just ran a FC run on Threatening, vs Qunari with bunch of new players. Ended up doing at least 80% of the work. At the end showed I got nearly 10K XP but NONE of it was applied to my character. What a monumental waste of time and effort. GRRRRRR!!!!

blue screen at end of match... no xp gain on reload after carrying green team for almost 30 minutes. I feel that.

Bitter Axe is loads of fun. The explosions are kind of gory, i feel bad for the mobs.

But do you kick the meat chunks around for extra fun?

I'm worried about you  :?

Didn't you ever learn the childrens' counting rhyme:

"One explosion, two explosions, three explosions, four,

five explosions, six explosions, seven explosions, more ...

(Well, I have just had two druffy runs in one week.)

Can't say I have, but I DID grow up listening to:

"Four banana, three banana, two banana, one

All bananas playing in the bright warm sun
Flippin' like a pancake, poppin' like a cork
Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper an' Snork

Tra, la, la, la, la, la, la... ..."  :D

One time I did a solo run with my Templar and on FC 3/4 I killed almost everyone downstairs by the two doors. When I was done I was thinking how horrific it would be for someone to come across the knee deep body parts. It was really a mess...

Oh, I didn't realise that core player in DAIMP were so, well, core biased.

But in to the frustration. Actually, my three main problems are connection, connection and connection. I'm used to getting disconnected from host at stage 4 or 5 when soloing and getting used to massive lag that comes with few players (hopefully I'm not causing lag for too many others).

But really getting annoyed for connection problems while trying to jump to invited or friends games. 9 out of 10 tries ends to eternal load after failed connection. So far I know two ways to recover from this.

1. Try to join (through ps4 UI) to full game from other friend -> cant connect, lobby full -> jumps back to main MP screen where you can find or start game.

2. Restart game

It has been allmost impossible for me to join friends games or inv for 2-3 weeks now. Have to try other operator soon to find out if it is due strict NAT which I can't help otherwise, or is it just game.

Oh, and new players who are too embarrassed to stay in lobby when they die multiple times in a row and fade, when I'm training my level 1 characters there. You are welcome to stay and hang around there, you may learn something and at least you get XP. Yes, I kind of enjoy trying lower weapons and/or ideas with lev 1 in threatenig, helping new players is absolutily big bonus :)

Even more frustrating are new players with their 4-5 bars of life that jump to my NM run, which I've started solo just because I can't join/find games. NM for me with some character/enemy combos (not nearly all) is definetly doable, but not after few fade heroes.

Oh oh oh.. do you have mods on your single player game?  We are trying to figure this one out also.  So far the only conclusion is that both the host and you have mod on single player.   Non-mod people could connect to any game.   Mod people could connect to any game hosted by non-mod folks.  But mod people connecting... this problem could come up if the mods are not compatible.

Sorry, forgot to mention that my platform is PS4. So no mods. For some reason seems that friends can join my lobby but I can't join theirs.

so much for that theory.  But what you described is exactly what I saw.  It happens rarely but whenever that happened, I asked the host if he/she got mod and it is always yes.  It is not just random disconnection.. since I could not connect that person's game ever.... until I removed my mod.

Can confirm the infinite loading issue when joining with no mods. I've never even started SP let alone have any mods.

I can't get my head wrapped around not playing the SP game. I have over 3000 hours logged playing it. (More like 4000 actually). The MP game has so much more meaning if you have played the DAI (and DAO/DA2).

For some people, it just wasn't the game they wanted or didn't feel enough like Dragon Age. My first playthrough stopped in the Hissing Wastes, for example, at which point I started playing multiplayer more and more. I only completed the game after MP support ended, and I've yet to start or even want to start another playthrough.

The map size and more linear design of Descent was perfect for me, but the main game...too big, too empty. Also, too many demons, not enough darkspawn.

Yeah, my whole involvement in this series is kind of funny. I played DAO for 1.5 playthroughs (not much, I know. The second playthrough was on track for 100% completion but that just drained me) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only reason I got that game was because EA Origin was giving it out for free so I tried it without having any idea what it even was at the time. Never touched DA2. Downloaded DAI because, you guessed it, EA origin was giving out the trial for free which included infinite multiplayer. I played multiplayer for like 2 days and hated it because my damage was terrible as we all know in the beginning. Went back to DAO for like a month until I tried multiplayer again and then stuck with it.

I guess I'm just not a big buyer of games in general. The last PC game I bought was Battlefield 3 (bought it mainly because I built my computer with the intention to build more and sell them. Battlefield 3 was the benchmark for PC performance at the time and it looked kind of fun) and that's really the only other game I actively played and put serious time into. I'd rather put more time in a single game than buy a whole bunch of games and get distracted between a bunch of them. I still have Xbox 360, PS2, and Gamecube games I never opened because I was playing some other game at the time. Anyway, moral of the story is in the last 10 years, I've probably bought like 5 games total. I'm just not interested in buying and playing more games generally.

There's people (with a bad ping) who have nothing to do in 2nd difficulty. Yet i see them day after day with a room up and i'm stuck alone because they completely destroy everything and their ping is bad and they somehow get a first pick at new players.

I got the game of the year version when I switched to PS4. That was fun. I don't recall how or why but I thought it should go Descent, hakkon, trespass. I loved descent. Played straight through. I jumped into the open world of hakkon and felt immediately overwhelmed and just annoyed at the openness [ Oh my god not another astrarium. ] This was a bit odd since I loved the main game, exploring, finding all the quests etc.

I will get through it one day - maybe when the fam is out of town or I steal the PS4 for a biz trip. Everyone says tresspasser is worth it. I gotta power though......

I only have one full play through [ not including Hakkon and Trespass] .

About 120 hours or so. I am sure I have spent more than that on MP.
