While true, I don't think Zarya is an antagonist. In the lore Asia is having Omnic issues. Russia is currently involved in the Second Omnic Crisis, so her country is currently at war with them, so understandably she has some negative opinions.
Same with D.Va, whose backstory is essentially a giant reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion(even her name D.Va is partly to refer to the word Eva from that franchise, and her outfit is similar to the plug suits Eva pilots wear) where every once in a while the East Asian countries are attacked by a giant Omnic so they enlisted her as part of an initiative to fight them off. Though unlike Zarya, D.Va seems to show no negative feelings towards Omnics.
So much lore I need to wrap my head around.

Of all possible heroes, Hanzo is probably the main one I never want to see on my team.
For me, it's actually Widowmaker. I prefer Hanzo on my team over her. Widowmaker, though good, is very stationary. You can't expect a Widowmaker to help secure the point. She can watch over it, but if she gets any closer, she'll drop very quickly. Hanzo's range allows for him to get closer, and his ultimate can help get the enemy off of the point.

Well, if there is one thing Blizzard is great at, it is developing lore for their IPs.

This is true. I do like the fact they fully flesh out their worlds. They leave no stone untouched.

For me it's probably Mei. I've had a few Mei players on my own team troll us with her ice wall. A lot of times it saves enemies from our own attacks, and I've had a few Mei players set up an ice wall right in front of the exit from the spawn point on king of the hill maps, delaying us needlessly.

Those Mei players are right pricks.
I wish there was a report function in game for things like that. I'm not sure if there is one on PC, but on consoles, we don't have one. I want to report so many people for trolling in competitive games but I don't know how to go about doing it.
A way they could do it is go about it in a similar way to how League of Legends handles it. After every game, ranked or not, you get a end of match screen and on there, you can select the 'report this player' option besides a persons name. In Overwatch competitive games, you don't go from one game to the next. You end up going back to the main menu after the game finishes. A screen before then giving us the option to report players would be fantastic.

I've come across too many Hanzos that can't land their arrows.
Nothing more useless than a sniper that can't hit anything.

Mei in general is a troll, that's probably why she's my favourite.
Nothing funnier than putting a wall in front of enemies when they're about to pop an ultimate or Reinhardt when he's charging...except Genjis hopelessly trying to fight back while being frozen.

Is it legit trolling or are they just having a bad game though?
I've come across Reinhardts I've thought were trolling me but then I've had some of my worst games as him.

Legit trolling. I had one wanker decide to spend a full minute spinning in a ****** circle shooting up at the ceiling. In a ranked game. That ****-er would have been banned if it were up to me!
I sent him a brilliantly worded message afterwards.
Most occasions, I have to deal with Mei's using Ice Wall in front of the team on purpose.
I find people can only troll as Mei. Her abilities disrupt your own team as much as the enemies. No other hero has that. People can troll as other heroes though, but it's not so much the hero but what they are doing, like spinning around in a ****** circle!

Oh I've had that happen too.

Granted it's a PUG game but there are some good Ice Walls, and silly mistakes, in there.

I find Tracer as a great counter to Mei. Her speed and blanks can run circles around Mei just as she's about to freeze you.

Here's another D.VA tip: If you see snipers above you (Hanzo, Widowmaker or even explosive users like Junkrat or Pharah) use Rocket Boost to fly up and disrupt them.

Tracer can beat her as well but Mei can really drag that fight out.
McCree is a good one as well but since he got nerfed, less so.

I don't think McCree really got nerfed.

Yeah, I'm getting sick of players using Hanzo. Especially if they're not with them.

I can count on one hand the number of good Hanzos I've come across and even then he's most effective at a range where Soldier or McCree are more reliable.
He has benefits over them though. He can grant vision and his scatter arrow can take out a room without direct sight.
And the hit box on Hanzo's arrows is much higher than both McCree or Soldier.
Overall, I prefer Hanzo to McCree. Still prefer Soldier above both though.

Still prefer Soldier's consistency though and he doesn't need the Reinhardt shield as much as McCree does.

And a good McCree will make flankers think twice about going after your supports and help keep Pharah in check since every competitive team has to have one.
Still prefer Soldier's consistency though and he doesn't need the Reinhardt shield as much as McCree does.
You have to guarantee that your McCree will be there to take out the flanker though.
Dealing with Pharah, I prefer Soldier. His sustained fire allows for misses to be made. Burst fire is more difficult to get onto Pharah in the sky unless you have god like aimbots.
One problem I have with Soldier players though, so few of them realise they act as a secondary team healer. Whenever I play as Soldier, I always have my heal on cooldown (unless I can see that it's not needed for any of the team or I've got to run back to the fight). His heal works very, very well. Yet, other Soldiers never drop it except to heal just themselves.

I've come across too many that would struggle to hit a Reinhardt shield let alone actual targets and since McCree doesn't have the means to be effective off on his own, I'll take my chances with him.
And on a random aside, if there is one thing I'm liking about competitive play it's how badly the Torb and Bastion mains get stomped.
Against people that will coordinates, that **** don't work.
Can't wait for the hero limit though.
The amount of cheesy **** teams are pulling, mine included, needs to be stopped.

Competitive play has changed... Still crap.
Why can't they just treat a tie as what it is, a tie?
And I'm back down to 57... I think I'm just going to give up on Competitive until Blizzard get competent. I see they are struggling to get their new wheel to work.
