I have to say I am so glad that they let Ashley's hair down and softened her look with a little makeup in ME3, and finally gave us some prettier females in that game as well. Tentacle heads do nothing for me; I like hair, long hair like Ashley's and Miranda's, and I think it would be great if you could choose not only your character's appearance (face, body, and hair) but that of your Shipmates and Main NPCs as well. It would also be cool if they could have different clothing to wear which you could choose personally. I've actually been considering going to the PC simply because they have mods for all of this, but it would be nice if it were simply part of the game. I also I think it would be great if EDI were still in the game. Not only did she look fantastic, it's more than feasible that she would still be around. I am so jonesing for the next Mass Effect it's insane. There are no other games that come close to the depth and beauty of Mass Effect, and I'm on my 18th play-through of the entire series because of that very truth.

I have to admit it would be nice to be able to customize crew members a bit more in terms of clothing but you have to remember their hairstyles would be in context what the character wants

Obviously, but if their hair is not integral to that specific character for a specific reason, there's no reason that the player shouldn't be able to decide in their own mind what a specific character's hair would look like to fit the player''s own impression of his or her personality. Ditto body and clothing.

True, personally i feel even just changing the clothing would be enough but i guess it could grow on me if it were implemented

Dragon's Dogma is all about customizing your AI Companion, pretty cool.

I think it will become more widely spread. I already envision a VR game (in which you of course don't see yourself) in which you create your companion in detail.

That would be pretty awesome although if it were a mass effect game it would have to be a spin off and not part of the main series, unless there was the option to play 3rd or 1st person

Who knows, maybe this game will be adapted to VR. At the very least, I will probably be playing it in 3D!!

I like hair too but I found Aria pretty...... interesting. But putting that aside yeah more customization option need to present themselves.

I prefer ME1 Ashley (and Liara, Kaidan and every single character). But that's just my opinion.

They all had more "life" to them.

I agree. Also you may want to edit that profanity word. biowareMod 10 will surly give you and everyone else whom quoted you a warning. So watch out, he abuses his power as a moderator.

Eww. Why would Shepard be telling Ashley how to style her hair? Unless some of the styles don't conform to regs, but I don't think Ash would choose those herself anyway.

If the feature's free, might as well toss it in anyway. But my understanding is that companions are typically not build with the standard CC, so this feature wouldn't be free.

I wasn't because it seemed odd given how Ashley had always worn her hair in a simple bun and always worn the military uniform off-duty yet now she wears her hair long and wears what is not the Alliance's military uniform or a version of it. Ashley always seemed to prefer a practical and simple look so I am not sure where the look she had in Mass Effect 3 came from or why they decided to give her it.

I got a warning from BiowareMod 05 for making a thread about wanting certain voice actors which is on topic and related to the Mass Effect game.

Well, I would rather not talk about it since I may get a warning for this post by talking about it already. It's not like there's anything we can talk to since all the mods are apparently shared account, so BiowareMod 10 may not be the same person each time. I feel like I'm being targeted since the discussion in there were very valid which I pointed out the voice actor has a wide range. At best, they should just delete it without giving a warning point. It's not even a trolling topic.

If I get banned for a few days due to this post then I guess I'll see everyone later I guess.

Anyway, I'm actually happy with the original version, they look more militant, and while there are people like girls with long hair, there are people who like girls with short hair as well. I also don't think it fit Ashley's personality to doll up like that.

That makes sense. I called someone's idea bad and I got a warning point saying, "A post you made has been removed as it attacked others."

You know how many warnings I have? More than I should have. I agree. Sure they're doing their job but sometimes they take someone's comments the wrong way. We've all had strife at one point or another there's no denying that but there's a difference between calling someone out and just disagreeing. It's just like the police not that I have problem with cops or authority but that's how it works.

I think I have heard this before. I don't simply think it's good idea for RPG, you are making your protagonist, but NPCs are their own characters. Choosing their weapons and armors is enough for me if the game even allows that.

"Ashley, Kaidan and Liara were meant to be love interest throughout all three parts of the triology. After taking them away from player in Mass Effect 2, they were ready for a passionate return in Mass Effect 3. For Ashley's reappearance in the series, we let her hair down and gave her sex appeal". - From 'The Art of Mass Effect'

Basically they wanted to make her more sexually appealing. Honestly I'd rather they stay true to the character's instead.

Honestly I liked it cause it was different. What I didn't like is that she didn't have anything interesting to talk about. She wasn't as chatty as she used to be. Physical appearance that changes is good. But of the personality doesn't hold true there's a prob.

I wouldn't want to be able to change the character's face or body, but I would love the ability to change and/or customize their armor and casual attire.

I got my warning point for posting a gif related to Mass Effect on a Mass Effect forum. It was beautiful.
