There are some active threads that I posted in that I've really no more interest in, but of course they still end up popping to the top of the My Content list.

Is there a way to remove them because I can't find one. If there isn't a way do you think Bioware will ever add one?

I'm temporarily stuck using a laptop with 12 MB of ram, and each page takes a minute to load at the best of times, so I can't really check, but there are two ways that come to mind:

Under your notifications/e-mail options, I'm almost certain there's a box to check for receiving notifications for threads that you are following.

I'm also pretty sure there is an "unsubscribe to this thread" button in a similar location to where the "subscribe to this thread" button would be.

I've never used either option, so I might be remembering how it works on another forum, but I'm pretty sure it works that way here, too.

Those options are there but the latter works only if you haven't posted in the thread.

Post in one and it is stuck in your My Contents list forever.

Off topic. What on earth is that laptop running to survive on that?

I don't think I've played around much with the "My Contents" portal. I do have a thread that I'm subscribed to, but I don't receive any notifications for other threads that I post in. There may be a peculiar combination of settings I have that works around it. If I notice anything, I'll mention it.

Windows XP.
