I'm no expert on relationships. I haven't been in one in a while but I can honestly tell people that physical intimacy is a vital part. If you lack in social skills but good at that it's all good.Plenty of ways to express that you care about someone without sex.

Since so many games seem to have no problems with achieving high sales due to their 18+ content with violence, I wonder why Mass Effect - like most of the American video game and movie industry (Hollywood) - has such a big problem with nudity.
I mean this game is containing romances without any actual sex. It's like we are in a Christian or Muslim movie where everything is allowed from doing a genocide (Krogans), killing, illegal trades to supporting murder (and a Shadowbroker spying on everyone - Snowden/NSA anyone?) BUT as soon as you could show one breast (OMG!) you immediately have to change the camera angle and after that quickly switch to the wake up scene in full clothes or tshirts and bra.
I mean you seem as afraid of this as a little girl that starts looking away and turns red as soon as something turns sexual.
I think most of your playerbase has actually reached the age when they can bear those moments since they are normal within our lifes. This censorship just cuts away a huge amount of game immersion as far as I am concerned and from my point of view this is neither justified on a commercial nor on a gameplay level. One of the biggest reasons why people buy a Mass Effect game is that they can develope their own character in a realistic way with their own choices. I don't demand polyamory like some other people in this forum (since this was always a possibility when you actually played the old games [-> You could actually romance at least 5 different people in the playthrough of the game without actual negative consequences]), but a more grown up dealing with the topics of nudity and/or sex.
A Clockwork Orange by Stanley Kubrick for example had no problem to show nudity and still isnt considered to be a porn movie, but a true masterpiece of film. Since Mass Effect always had a great story in my opinion, I would expect the same for Andromeda and see an improvement for the actual quality of the game in terms of realism and immersion.
How do you guys feel about this?

It's a form of attraction. I think there's society's definition on what a romance should be, and if someone doesn't see it this way, it's not a romance.
I don't get the reference in the picture, but if you want to talk physical interaction. couples do hold hands and hug each other. It's still not full sexual intercourse though.
